Figures crossed that our I-751 is approved before our Citizenship interview next month. Just so we get Oath ceremony scheduled without delay.

I think 19 months waiting for I-751 is long enough. :)

If they scheduled your interview with 751 pending, then it's almost guaranteed to be a combo interview. I actually received an email from my USCIS office confirming that mine will be a combo and that my spouse needs to be present as well.

That's what we figured. Now what should be bring. Is more evidence needed or no. Man our I-751 was 595 pages.

I guess 2018 taxes. But I think we submitted that. LOL. My mind is fuzzy now. I can't think of anything else to do

We just took the updated documents (statements etc between the time we filed for N400 and the interview, so 5-6 months). My lawyer felt that would be sufficient as we had provided lots of info for 751, as well as the 400. The caveat is that my lawyer has been working with clients in my state for 20+ years, so she know how the IOs work in my field office. During the interview, the IO basically double checked the 751 info and approved it within 5 minutes and moved on to N400 test and questions. She didn't ask for any additional documents.

Cool approval on the spot. I like that. Thank you. And congratulations.
I figured updated statements would work but dang we filed N400 9 months ago. And I sure wasn't going to get evidence from when we filed the I-751 19 months ago.
So 9 months of updates cool.

Since our 18-month extension letter is expiring soon we tried to get a 551 stamp by calling the infopass 800 number... they called back and said no appointments are available for the whole month.  What should we do now??

It has to be within 30 days of it to expire. First time you call you will speak to a Customer service representative who will just write down your info and within 48-72 hours a real Officer will call you back. They are the ones that will schedule it for you, and if it’s not within 30 days they will just ask you to call back.

It is within 30 days.  Told them it expires on 3/1/2020.

When they called back they still said there are no appointments available at the Boston field office for the REST OF THE MONTH and they are unable to open additional appointments...   They followed up with an email stating the same.

Mine is getting expired in first week of March as well.  I never got a call back first time when i requested for info pass to get 551 stamp . Got the call back after calling again second time and the officer was really nice and helpful to get me scheduled for the info pass.

Did you have to tell them it is an emergency or or that you have travel planned?

So, today I went for Info pass to get I-551 stamp on my passport , since my 18 month extension is getting expired in next 30 days while I-751 is still pending ( filled in June 2018).  I got the stamp for 1 year .

The officer took my expired green card and also the extension letter and told me he's gonna shred it as they are no longer valid and I-551 stamp is as good as green card. Is this normal ? Giving away green card ( though expired) was a weird feeling .. lol

I am sorry for that! I had the same feeling this could happen to me but instead they told me to keep both GC and letter.
