Hi,

My wife, daughter and stepson had an interview on June 1, 2018.  My daughter is from a previous marriage, which makes my wife her stepmother. The interview went well and the 3 of them were approved.  After the interview, I checked their visa status online.  My wife and stepson's visa showed as issued, while, my daughter's visa showed as Administrative Processing.   What is that mean?   Does anyone have had the same experience?   I just don't understand why my daughter would be put on administrative processing when the consul that interviewed them have approved their visas and said that all of their paperwork are complete and nothing were missing.  Please help!!!!

AP is normal and all you can do is wait. It means they are doing additional checks.

It can last couple or few weeks, or few months and there is nothing you can do about it.
