We are going to file in 1st week of Sept. 2018 and after online filing and choose Mt. Laurel in NJ (or Neward NJ) as USCIS center

1. How long will it take to get actual bio-metrics appointment (not just date but when will be actual physical biometrics at USCIS center?)

2. After biometrics is done how long does it take to get interview date (just a date via mail..not actual interview)

3. After biometrics is completed at center ..how long does it take to get interview?

Hi Minglevi,

Processing times are not set in stone. But usually for biometrics, it's quite fast. Usually any time from 1-3 weeks from the time they received your application..

As for interview, it varies. Some states/field office can schedule as early as 2 months, to as long as 1 year ++.

I'm a NY filer, and there are folks that filed since 10/17 still waiting for interview as NY and NJ are really backlogged. So be prepared to wait.. also make sure you file it online, and make sure you don't make any mistakes or leave out any documents. IF USCIS RFE, then you wait time will probably be even longer.

Best of luck

Only someone who went through the same office can give you their timeline. And be close.

Every office is different mine was 71or 72 days from submitting my application to ceremony and certificate in hand but I'm in Florida
