Just like the Weinstein thing... You have to get out of the bubble and look for the evidence.

We have a mixed economy, meaning socialism has already been implemented.

So I'm not sure what you are trying to get at.

We have socialist programs, but nothing close to pure socialism (government control of the economic capital) and I would like to keep it that way.  The government and in particular the federal government should be kept as small and in-intrusive as possible.

One could argue the socialist aspects of our economy have contributed to all the downturns in recent history.

A president literally does have absolute pardoning power for anyone but themself and there may be an argument to be made that they in fact could pardon themself though that legal theory hasn't fully been put to the test. If you disagree with this explain what their limits are and the laws to backup your assertion.

How so. Please give some examples to go along with the rhetoric.

They also report on a lot of made up bs as though it is fact.

Many conservatives are out of touch. So are many liberals. What's your point?

You are getting most of this info from Trump and his lawyers. Law professors and former federal legal staff are drawing up different scenarios of what would/could happen if he chooses to abuse his power.

Even if he does pardon himself of a crime ... Why would you even support his actions.

It is interesting that we are talking about Trump self-pardoning himself when there is still no identified crime that he has supposedly committed.  Prior to the election in 2016, there was similar speculation surrounding the other candidate that was supposed to win and actually did have an actual crime against her that she allegedly committed.  The Trump team actually does itself a great disservice when it contributes to these hypotheticals the biased media proffers, never answer a hypothetical!

Anyway, here is an interesting read regarding the speculation in late October 2016.  It also talks about potential impeachment and has a very interesting opinion on that as well.  Of course now that the shoe-in candidate lost, the situation is flipped, but the analysis is still relevant.

Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."
