How long it takes to get email/text from USCIS?

The guard asked me if I brought a phone and I said no but I saw other people having there phone with them. I assume the guard would tell you to turn it off. There was even one woman in the waiting area who had her iPad out. She put it between her and a big purse but she had headphones in her ears...

It kind of irritated me because the rules are simple and if they can't even follow those rules...but hey, I am not here to judge. lol

 

I have done my biometric today it just took like 20mins lol XD

not yet. I’m not expecting anything before at least July and honestly before a couple of months. Lol

Since my tourist visa valid till Mid-Aug, but is it mean I can stay in the US even if it expired?

Exactly. You can’t travel or leave the county even before the visa expires if you don’t have your advanced parole. 

Yiull seitc to “pending I-485” status. It’s also written in the instructions/documents.

Once you file a valid I-485, you are in "authorized stay" so your end date on the I-94 effectively does not matter. Just don't leave the country without receiving advance parole.

I am in the same boat now. Thanks for sharing your experience. It has been exactly 2 weeks since USCIS received my package (according to USPS tracking) and up to now still no receipt and my money order has not been cashed. I’m worried

May i ask where you mail your package to? If you mailed to the lockbox, you can send them an email (Lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov). Remember to include all the info in the email.

Hi yes I did mail it to the lockbox on June 4 and it was delivered on June 6. I haven’t heard anything yet and the money order is still not cashed. I was waiting until Friday to send them an email.

Well you can call the hotline tomorrow or Thursday, no need to wait till Friday (cos i remember when I called them they asked me if it's over 10 days or not) 

 

But i believe you gonna get the same answer as me - they will have the tier 2 officer to call you back, then they will suggest you to email the lockbox directly. So it's up to you, you can skip the call part and directly email them.

 

(P.S. I sent the email on Jun 4 but until today I still haven't received their reply. But on the same day that I email them I got the SMS and email at night time lol)

Your EAD and AP will come as a combo card. You are only allowed to travel with this card in hand.

And with documents I  mean just the information on AP.

Good morning I just send them an email, I got the automotive mail that says that I will get a response in 15 business days... as if waiting 2 weeks for a receipt wasn’t long enough already🙄 I just have to keep my fingers crossed

Recieved a case update for my 485 it said
