Hey there Doug I figured we can use our names by now right? Well anyway I just read about that China airline that lost an engine on the runway and yet thank God not one was injured so I can only imagine your fiancee is pretty stress out so I'll keep her in prayer. So when is she supposed to be flying out of Manila? Jkelsey's fiancee is still there in the airport also waiting for another flight to be scheduled to leave so keep me posted my friend. I just read that saturday morning the runway is cleared for incoming and outgoing flights so hope she is on her way today.

as of now they are letting people into the gate area.  But there has only been like three planes that have left.  They also stopped providing food and drinks to all the people that are trapped in the area with nowhere to go.

Everything is ok on our end. It was a Chinese plane that was landing. It had no serious injuries

Thank the good Lord that the plane was landing when this took place. I can't imagine how scarred everyone was. Now for you guys you have to delay again something that you thought was behind you. I'll keep you all in my prayers for a safe trip.

She made it to New York and will catch the next plane to Jacksonville.  Only a couple hours left.  😀

OMG that is a long flight. She is going to have to have some extra TLC when she arrives. I'm sure you will support her and make her comfortable. If you don't have a rice cooker and supply of rice you BEST be get your BUTT to the store and get one home, washed and ready to go for her. My wife says most Filipino's like Jasmine style rice. I wish you all the best and happiness. Are you Jacksonville North Carolina or Jacksonville Florida?

My fiancé just had his interview in London this morning, and was APPROVED!!!! It feels surreal and we can't believe that looming stress is finally over. Can't wait to get him to the U.S. soon! For now, we celebrate! :jest::wub:

I'm not sure yet which questions were asked, but I'll talk with him about it, and will see if I can get him to post a review of the Embassy. Good luck to everyone still waiting! Hoping for approvals for all soon! Thanks again to everybody for all the help, and we'll see you on the other side!

We reach 3 weeks of waiting for being contact by the embassy. We have sent emails, my fiancé’s congresswoman had sent an email two weeks ago. This is nonsense. Is there anything we could do to get the package 3? Is there anyone we can contact to help us with our process?

Thank you.  I already had jasmine rice and a cooker on stand by.  It was Jacksonville, Florida, its an hour and a half drive from my house in Georgia.  But its around $500 cheaper a ticket so better then Savannah, Georgia.  Sorry for the late responds I had a lot to catch up on.😂

what is the first to set an appointment is it the CFO or the embassy interview?

The CFO and interview not tied together.  CFO is required to leave the Philippines by their Government.  The interview is the US.  Still have to have both done to fly out though.  We used the Clark CFO and its a walk in (first come first serve) basis on Wednesday at 2pm.  All other CFOs are appointment based.  We did interview then CFO.

Hello! So I already had my interview two days ago, now i checked the status online it says “application received” what does that mean????

Did it ever change from that? Ours just switched to “application received”. The interview was yesterday and they said they were approving it.

I can't help you if you can't reach the Embassy. Have you tried calling? Phone is on their website. I do have some information for your review while you are waiting.

Unfortunately I don't have a true Packet 3 letter so if and when you get a copy can you PM me with it? Thanks.

Also I have this https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/SNT-Santiago.pdf

You should be over in the sub-forum for your area where you can ask some of the others who are applying and also there are some experts that can answer your questions.
