I'd like to help you but I have never heard of the "notification of readiness" form. What is it and what is its purpose? Thanks.

I think they are referring to the P3 checklist. In my country you have to fill out and sign a checklist stating you have all of documents ready to bring to the interview, scan it and email it back in order to receive your P4 and are eligible to schedule an interview.

Ok, I heard this form needs to be filled out and submitted to the embassy before the interview?

Or am I getting confused?

...but I really cant say because @Brandon & Sarah, you have not filled out your profile to state which country you are filing through. Each embassy requirements are different and we cant really lead you to the correct information if we dont know your embassy.

Canada is one that does it that way Right. If I remember correctly you were saying that, but with undertones &*%^%%@(*^&)%^&^ you couldn't hurry the process along for Canada. :jest:

You are correct. You cant hurry it along at all. You have to wait for P3 which takes 2-4 weeks from Ready. Comply with what they ask for in P3 by sending them a copy of the signed P3 checklist, your DS160 confirmation and your Passport Bio. Then they send you P4. Theeeeen they tell you to register to schedule and shut up and wait some more for interviews to open up which only happens once a month during the last week of the month for two months ahead UNLESS you are lucky and you scoop up a cancellation. Not wise to take a cancellation anyways because it takes some weeks to get into a medical appointment too.

Curious minds like to know what they ask at the interview. Best place to find that out is in your Embassy Reviews here on VJ.

If you select your flag in your profile it's going to open up to a page with lots of information. In the middle upper part of the page you are going to see "Quick Links" then in the list select "Embassy Review" and you will be taken to a page where you can read what others have experienced at your Embassy. I might invite you and others to take a little time to discover what tools are available to you here on VJ. So much that you are missing that would calm your nerves and give you the tools to predict the different timelines associated to different steps in your process.

If there is nothing there then I will give you a list to ponder. This list is not all inclusive and your mileage may vary.

-What is the name of your fiancé/e?

-Where did you meet?

-When did you meet?

-How did you meet?

-When are you planning to get married?

-What is your fiancé/es work?

-Have you gone out of the country?

-How long were you out of the country?

-How many times has your fiancé/e visited you?

-Where did you go when your fiancé/e visited you?

-Do you plan to have kids?

-Where do you plan on staying in the US?

-name and DOB

-what year did you meet

-How did you meet

-what are your fiancé parents' names

-your fiancé's employer and job

-have either of you been married before

-other countries you've been to

-do you have kids together

These are some of the questions but rest assure that all the questions will be about the petitioner, the beneficiary, and the relationship. Always tell the truth even if the truth is "I don't know". Don't rush in answering and give a straightforward answer. Look the CO in the eye when answering and smile. Don't give a novel as your answer. Just brief and concise. Don't volunteer any information unless asked, this could send you down the wrong road.

Don't forget to ask if you passed.

These are the exact questions that the consul asked me on my interview, except the kids part and parents name.

BTW, I got my visa on hand today! I will be flying to the US on August 26, my fiancé will be coming on the 24th! 😍😍😍 LDR no more! Thanks again guys!

Hello everyone!

We received our NOA2 on July 28th and found out that NVC received our case on August 10th. I think I heard somewhere, in this feed, that batches of applications are sent out every two weeks on a Tuesday? would that be this Tuesday or the next? Maybe ours could be one of them?! :)

My question is, can we safely, schedule my fiancés medical now that we have the case number? I have heard that some have at this point. Also is it alright to set up his interview once the case says its in transit? He will be going to London for his interview. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

this was an old thing. you don't need it. if you are going to London you jist need to do the ds160 then if you have your case number and everything you book your interview yourself online

Hello everyone! I just finished my interview today, here are the questions:

How long have you lived here?

What do you do?

How did you meet your fiance?

Where does he work?

*Consul looked at our photos then just said “okay we will call you when its ready” so I was confused cos i didn’t know if its approved or not. I said “is it all good” then she just said “yes you’re all set” so I am claiming that its approved!!!! 🤣😊😃 They took my passport and my old one since i have a tourist visa.

God is good! Thank you everyone for your help! Especially those who really takes time to answer my questions you know who you are!

This is directed to everyone - Don't be afraid of asking if you passed like "Are we approved for our visa"? No ambiguity with that question. If they take your passport, there is a good chance that you are approved. If they hand it back or don't take it well I am sorry for your situation.

Congratulations. Now, tell me was that so hard to stand in front of the CO for 5 min then you are approved :D Think back on all the worrying you did.
