Hello!

Im completing the DS-160, and I'm a little confused.

In 2016, they denied me the entry and deleted my ESTA because i came too early on my ESTA.

I explained the reason.

Then is another question on the form :

"Have you ever been unlawfully present, overstayed the amount of time granted by an immigration official or otherwise violated the terms of a U.S. visa?"

I answer "no" because i don't think the ESTA is a visa... Did i need to answer yes?

The ESTA is a visa ?

Thank you

I was told ESTA is no visa

Hey there Jkelsey, so how did your fiancee's interview go? I think my fiancee was just right after yours the same day. Well I see you are waiting on the visa to be delivered and same here so I'm thinking it should be sometime today or tomorrow so I'm so ready to book that flight to get her here this September 17th. She has to go back to Manila to take her CFO class so at least she can get her certificate and CFO sticker all at once right before her flight the following weekend . Anyway hope we get good news on the visa delivery!!

The interview went well.  She has here CFO class on the 3rd.  We are trying to have her fly here as soon as she gets the visa stamp.  Planning on getting the stamp at NAIA.  I work for the US Government so i dont every trust them to do anything on a schedule that is good for me.

Hey guys. I'm struggling again and again with the ustraveldocs website. I got my P4 today (yay) and wanted to schedule the interview. But I made a (stupid) mistake, as I clicked the button "new application/ schedule appointment" because that sounded logical to me. Whatever, after a few steps I noticed that this can't be correct and skipped back, but there is no other option to schedule the interview. I tried to call the (German) hotline but had no option to talk to a real person. I started the live chat, didn't work. So I sent an email, but I'm worrying that I won't get a helpful answer as I didn't get one when I asked them for help when this website didn't accept my cgi number.

Does anybody had the same issue or an idea how to solve it?

Why couldn't the steps you were taking "be correct"? Your menu selection sounded good. So I am kind of confused.

Because the next step would be... and this sounds incorrect to me. One person in the German subforum said there was a button which said "continue" (above the one which says new application) Either I overlooked it or it wasn't there. If I click on the button First available... nothing happens

If you look across the page on the very top where it shows what step you are on then it looks to me that you are progressing just fine. You cant use the button First Available till you add your name. Then you should be able to use the button.

So you think I just should click on Add by name? I thought, if I will continue, I create a second application. To me it sounds I'm adding another family member

Yes, add your name then go to next available appointment and set up your interview. Sometimes you have to move forward and if you make a mistake well, then they should have designed their form so there is a misunderstanding on what the steps should be. Just my 2 cents. Every thing can be corrected.

Then do nothing and you won't screw up the appointment just the entire K-1.
