Usually the visa arrives after the interview in only 5 days, but sometimes it can take as long as 14 days. To pick up her visa at 2GO she had to use a photo ID, sign her name and write down her Photo ID number to pick up her visa package. No I didn't book her flight before we got the visa, it is so easy for things to get messed up in the Philippines, It's not worth taking a chance. Just to make the a name correction on her birth certificate took around 8 months to correct.

So is there a 2go travel place there in Dumaguete where she can pick up her visa? She registered to have it delivered to her address so maybe that's where they will deliver her visa. My fiancee said also they will send her a text when it arrives so I'm hoping by next Friday it will arrive. Really happy for you guys and so I will plan on getting her here in Las Vegas sometime in September as she wants to spend a few weeks with her family before she leaves.

My fiancee said she was just asked a few questions regarding my job and how we met but never questioned her about our relationship and about the affidavit of support which I'm not surprised because they pretty much don't ask for that anymore. So if your fiancee knows you really well which I'm sure she does, I wouldn't sweat it. She was in and out in 5 minutes. Just make sure she smiles and looks directly at the interviewer and above all, don't provide any info unless they ask for it. When is her interview?  She will do just fine. Yeah as long as you petitioned her BEFORE 2.5 years you are fine so not too worry about that so take care and blessings!!!:P

Thank you. Then I will try do be very selfconfident (I'm the beneficiary 😁) I have no appointment yet. Just got all documents together and will send them hopefully on Monday to the embassy. Not sure, if I can already schedule the appointment or if I have to wait for their feedback. I will check that within the next few hours. Good luck for your future together with your beloved fiance!

There are multiple 2GO locations in Dumaguete. I just read that the delivery received time can be at times faster to pick up at 2GO. It eliminates one more possible failure point for possible delays in the Philippines. My job is all about reducing risk in a risk management job position. Yes my fiance also received a text that her visa package was ready to pickup.

Well that's good BUT I think because she registered her visa to be sent to her address she will have to wait till it get's there UNLESS she can change it to be picked up at a to 2GO location there in Dumaguete so we'll see. Thanks my friend!!! so where is her point of entry? Will it be in Denver airport?

You can go ahead and schedule your interview and hope you can get in next month. Does the US embassy in Germany already have your case there? https://de.usembassy.gov/ Here's the link to the US umbassy in Frankfort so also does your fiancee have his affidavit of support sent over to you? Let me know how I can help and also go ahead and schedule your medical exam BEFORE you interview .

Yes!

Okaaaaayyyy! I'm going to teach you how to search VJ😉

1) Scroll to the very top of this page.

2) You will see the Visa Journey logo at the top with a blue bar (aka blue ribbon) above it. It will have "K-1 Fiance" in a darker blue arrow pointing left at the left top and a darker blue box on the right with "Menu" in it. You can check out the menu later but for now you are going to look for the search icon in the blue bar/blue ribbon. It looks like a spy glass at the top of this page.

3) Click on the spy glass. You will be directed to type whatever you want into the box.

4) Right now you are going to type in "Germany portal" or "Germany subforum" and then press go. You can use this search box to look up anything you could imagine though, full sentences even, just like Google.

5) You will be brought to a number of search results that best answer your query. One of the first ones will be your portal/subforum no doubt.

Hi, thank you for offering your help, I appreciate it. The instructions of the embassy in Germany say: SCHEDULING APPOINTMENT FOR VISA INTERVIEW: For applicants whose petition was filed with USCIS Frankfurt and fiancé(e) visa applicants: once all your documentation has been received and reviewed you will be notified by this office to go ahead and schedule your own appointment online.

So I guess I have to wait until they get my documents, the affidavit of support just arrived. My medical appointment is already scheduled, I have to go there on 15th August.

Everything you need is here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1g3Kap3mdru6wVgE95v0aLDs7kCvUk3BP/view?usp=sharing

BTW you do not fill out the DS-260 but you complete the DS-160. That note you are referring to is just a standard reply and only matters to those who are immigrants and you are a non-immigrant with immigrant intentions.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

@GreenbaumYou've been quiet lately so hope you are well my friend. I mentioned you yesterday to say maraming salamat for all your help and so she was approved as  it was a quickie interview for my fiancee and nothing even about our relationship or affidavit of support but we already knew that but the standard how did you meet and you know the rest. Anyway hoping for a September 17th flight here to fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada and an October wedding. Anyway to talk to you later my friend and take care!!!!!
