We are a June NVC, then today it's in Transit to Embassy in Manila. I could use some advise to make sure I don't make this process one second longer then it already is.

We are Applying for the K1, the NVC website says

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

But I didn't get a date or email or anything, when I called NVC they said they didn't have that info ;)

My Fiancé has had friends say to her about paying some fee at a bank, I'm confused if we need to have her fill out the 6 steps on the website?

Or just wait for the Embassy to contact her by mail then do the next step? Im trying my hardest to get her here fast.

Cyberbro, your timeline is not filled out so I can't give you too much info because we don't know which consulate your fiancee will be going to. So go ahead and create your profile and fill out the timeline and let me know where your fiancee will be having her interview and I can help you a little bit better. Thanks!! Don't worry about the 6 steps because it doesn't apply to the Ki visa so fill out your timeline!!

@GreenbaumSo my fiancee had her medical exam Monday and Wednesday and seems to be going good. She was told Monday she needed to see a Dermatologist to find out what allergies she has. So she goes to a Dermotology doctor Tuesday near where she's staying and got it done and then yesterday at SLEC they told her it had to be a SLEC Dermatoglist and another 1,300p!! :angry:Well why didn't they tell her that in the first place? Well anyway she's good and Friday's the big day for her interview. You know in the Philippines NOTHING is easy when it comes to requirements and $$$$$. She asked how early she can be there at the embassy and I told her I think no earlier than 30 minutes but I could be wrong. Be blessed my friend and take care of the family!!  Don't mind putting up with your rants every now and then.

It's never easy to do business, personal or otherwise, in the Philippines. It's the most frustrating country I have known. There are no rhyme or reason to how they transact with 'customers'. My wife went to get her passport. Stood in line for over 2 hours. Got to the front of the line and was told "here, fill this form out and assemble back in line". Oy Vey! There were hundreds there that day and the line stretched down the street and around the corner. You'd think they would send a person out with forms to complete and to walk down the line to be sure everyone was there for the correct reason. Handing out forms and announcing what documents were required or even checking the documents for completeness. It brings me back to the Navy where everything had a place and everything you did had a form. At least you knew what to do!

Well, let's look at it that she is getting the necessary information for her health and that she is going to be finished soon. All the best my friend. Share the information with her. Tell her she is going to be find. BTW, she should read the Embassy Reviews her on VJ. I think that will help her to become calm.

Hello! Does anybody know how to see the call logs if you are using facetime audio and video a lot? Also, fb messenger calls/video calls does it give you a log as well?

Do it through Settings on FB for the messenger. We have most of our chats there too. Quick and easy :)

The embassy will not give you your schedule/interview appointment unless its for a spousal/CR1 visa. If your case says "In Transit", your fiance(e) can now pay for his/her visa fee, schedule his/her interview and have her medical get done as well.

Well I don't mind the 113 degree weather here in July but the weather in the winter is a very cool 60's and 70's so not too bad here and don't gamble either. Plenty of things to do beyond the Las Vegas strip and lot's of mountains to go to go skiing here during the winter months . Tomorrow my fiancee has her visa interview at 8:40 am so since your fiancee has already been approved any last minute advice? Congrats by the way and so I know now it's just a matter of getting her visa and passport and then getting her there with you. Almost time to end that LONG distance relationship for good thank God!! talk to you soon my fiend and let me know how things are going there.

Question: Will they require an original birth certificate of my fiance during the interview?

Not sure if an original is required but my consulate requires proof of my USC fiancé's status in the US so I do have an original copy of his BC to bring with me. Perhaps a colour photocopy will do? You should probably ask those filing through your own embassy though...
