Call NVC and ask to be transferred to a 2nd tier agent. They have a little more access in the computer system and possibly help you.

You might try both options below.

First try shooting off an email to the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV The Ombudsman provides an impartial and independent perspective to USCIS in an attempt to resolve problems.

Second try your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.

Thank you very much!

We called today and NVC said they can’t help because need to wait no less than 6 weeks after noa2. Emailed ombudsman as well. Hope it will help.

Hi everyone! few questions for ds160

1) Passport details: Passport doc type? Should I choose REGULAR?

2) For the Work background. Do we really need to put the amount of monthly income?

We are a June NVC, then today it's in Transit to Embassy in Manila. I could use some advise to make sure I don't make this process one second longer then it already is.

We are Applying for the K1, the NVC website says

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

But I didn't get a date or email or anything, when I called NVC they said they didn't have that info ;)

My Fiancé has had friends say to her about paying some fee at a bank, I'm confused if we need to have her fill out the 6 steps on the website?

Or just wait for the Embassy to contact her by mail then do the next step? Im trying my hardest to get her here fast.

Congrats.  My fiancee has her interview in manila on Friday 840.  What type of questions did they ask?  She is nervous and i want to try and calm her down about the interview.

The questions was;

- where’s my fiancé ?

- what’s his job ?

- how we met ?

- what’s his hobby and interest ?

- if we both had been married before ?

- how many times he visited me ?

CO looked at the file, particularly the pictures my fiancé submitted, pointed out a place,  he confirmed if this was the place where we got engaged .

Thanks for the advices 😁 It finally worked. Now I just have to wait that Mikes documents finally arrive and then I can send it right away to the embassy. I'm so glad that this stuff comes to an end. Do you have already your interview appointment?

Did you already have your medical?

So you are making an application for the most important event in your life and "the man with the gold" is thinking the "man without the gold" doesn't want gold? Say it ain't so! Get my drift? Regular is fine.
