I guess I was confused as you said you were waiting on the letter from the Embassy so naturally I sent you the link to the letter so you wouldn't have to wait and you could get started collecting your documents and getting the medical completed.

I appreciate everything you do for all of us.But here we can’t do anything before the Embassy sends us the packet 3.We can only submit DS 160 confirmation.I tried to schedule an appointment and I couldn’t.

I'm not sure that information is correct (for the Philippine Embassy only and not other Embassy's). Once you have your case number follow these instructions if you have not done so. I'm sorry but you didn't indicate where you ran into the problem of not scheduling so I offer the instructions here:

PS. If you continue to have problems you can PM me an I'll try and help.

There are three ways to pay the K visa application fee:

  1. cash payment at any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch (larger branches only, not all do this)
  2. online payment provided by BPI to their clients
  3. or online payment via Bancnet.
For K1/K2 visa payment instructions :
http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-paymentinfo.asp
All K visa applicants must present a U.S. visa application deposit slip to pay the K visa fee. Print the applicable visa application deposit slip, downloadable from the online appointment website and take it to the bank to pay the fee.

Deposit Slip:
http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/pmisdepositslip.htm?amount=265&country=philippines

The visa fee is non-transferrable and is valid for one year.
After paying your visa application fee;
- Make a copy of your receipt for your personal records.  Bring the original receipt to your interview
- Schedule your visa interview appointment.

Hi @Greenbaum I just got our case number today as well and I checked the status and it says AT NVC. Just want to clarify things as its hard when there are lots of people saying different stuff and I know you are good at this so I want to hear it from you. Can I schedule and do my medical exam now? Also when should we pay the visa fee? Should I wait till CEAC says my case is ready? When's the best time to schedule my interview? Thanks a lot, btw I cannot access Hanks website so I'm kinda lost right now. Appreciate your reply.

Also when should we pay the visa fee? Pay the visa fee now. Be sure to make a 2 copy's of the confirmation page which you will bring to the medical.

Can I schedule and do my medical exam now? Go to SLEC's website and carefully read what is required.

Should I wait till CEAC says my case is ready? There is no need to wait for CEAC case ready indication to get any of this completed.

When's the best time to schedule my interview? Schedule your interview for about 30 days out this will give you time to gather your documents, complete the medical and complete CFO.

Have you lived outside the Philippines for more than 6 months duration from the age of 16?

No, I have not lived outside the Philippines. I pretty much have all the documents needed. So to sum it up, I can now pay the visa fee, do my medical (follow the instructions on SLEC website) and maybe I'll do the CFO at the same week too, then schedule my interview some time after. Thank you so much @Greenbaum!

I finally managed to schedule an interview (the only available interview in Moscow) for *...wait for it...*  25th of September! Just 7+ month in USCIS (no RFE) and almost 3 month just to get an interview date...

What is the situation in other countries? I'm curious :)

Thanks i will keep you posted. I called NVC yesterday and they said our case was electronic, but wasn't able to find out any other information as the lady i spoke to said i needed to call back and speak to a different operator?! I couldn't get through to them yesterday so will call back today. Are cases going through the London embassy electronic or is this normal?

Hey there! Our case is going through London as well, and I've been wondering the same. I just called the NVC 30 minutes or so ago since our case arrived on July 2nd. The man I spoke to said ours was undergoing "administrative processing." I'm not exactly sure what that means at this stage at the NVC, but my first guess was that they may be sending it electronically instead of snail mail, but honestly, I have no idea. Hopefully it'll make more sense soon, and I will report back if I find anything else out!

I will be a week short of 9 months in Canada (no RFE) and I was one of the first November filers to be approved NOA2 when they started working on November. So still a very long process after NOA2 for me.

I have a question my fiance is from Mexico but lived in Spain for a couple of years. We have our interview on September 13. We are compiling everything for the interview. As far as police records he got the one for the state he lives in and the federal one for México. Now we are trying to see how to get one from Spain but it is almost imposible. He has gone to the Spanish consulate but they only do police records for Spanish nationals. He is Mexican. My question does he really need the police certificate from Spain? I am afraid that we won't be able to get it. Anyone has had any experience with this?

Hello everyone, our case is now "ready" we are just waiting for the embassy to contact us for the interview. I have few questions about the affidavit of support.

1. what is A number for the beneficiary part?

2. the dependent's information section, should we write me (the beneficiary) or is it talking about other dependents aside from me?

thank you in advance
