Hello everybody, thank you @Mike & Tanja for suggesting this group. So i called NVC yesterday to ask on why we didn't receive any notification or email from them since we got our case number last june 28th via phone call. And she told me that they dont have any particular days on how long would take them to send our papers to hong kong. She just gave me the invoice number, which i cant use right now because Hong Kong police wont give me certificate of no criminal record unless i show them a printed copy of email fom nvc or packet 3. So basically im stock right now, and cant do anything because of lack of requirement.

Maybe there is something you can glean from this thread

Just to share, I’m a bit upset 😢

our NOA 2 was 13 June my fiancé called NVC on;

2 July (Mon) good news they just got our case,

3 July (Tue) as part of the process before giving the case number the rep asked for our info and had informed us in their system my dob is not correct :(.

We checked the copy of I-129F & G-325A I filled the correct dates. We already sent to NVC the copy of my passport and also my birth certificate. Hope this will not make the waiting process longer.

What you did may work, but without some correspondence from them, I am not totally on board with the fact they will get your information, they tie it to your record for someone to update. Don't be surprise if the case record doesn't get sent back to USCIS, and then they issue an RFE for additional proof and then update your record and then (I am out of breath with "and then's" :jest:) send it back to NVC. I'd say another 6-8 week wait. I'm just thinking out load.

Just sharing.... since I called the embassy here and they told me to email them, I only asked them what I can do or prepare any necessary documents while waiting for the NVC process. They replied but basically telling me to be patient and just wait for their instructions once they have the papers. So I really didn't find out any information about P3 or even the process here.

Dont quote me but it kind of sounds like they are just telling you to wait for them to send you P3. If you have done your research on your embassy's P3 on here or through the internet then you should already be prepared for what they will ask for in P3.

The documents requested for P3 in my country is not much more than a copy of my (bene) passport info page, my DS160 confirmation page, and a checklist that I signed declaring I have all of the documents required to bring to the interview.

The main thing I would suggest is getting all of your (bene) police clearances, getting the petitioner to finalize the I134 and all of the supporting documents and signing and sending to the bene. If the bene already has the petitioner's proof of domicile in the US, the proof of the petitioner being a USC (birth cert) and certified copies of both the bene and peti's prior divorce certificates then you should be good. They dont ask for much more.

Have you tried googling packet 3 for your country so you can prepare? (I just did. Not much).

Or have you tried to find other previous Bermuda filers on VJ through the search and sent them a private message? Maybe they can enlighten you on what the next steps/requirements are at your embassy.

We will see what will happen, it’s the representative who instructed us to send to them the passport to update it we just also include the birth certificate. We’ll gonna follow up on 5th to see what they say.

Here is what I have been able to find.

Hello! I tried to read as much of this thread as I could before asking any questions, but simply couldn't get to it all. I'm looking for the Packet 3 instructions for the Netherlands. I did a few google searches and checked out the consulate's website, but couldn't find anything specific to K-1s, just a smattering of random info. I'd love to get specifics.

Dankjewel! (I'm learning Dutch!) ;)

That is your country portal. It shows you a link for P3 instructions if you read and scroll down.

Just saw that. Have you tried to private message other VJers who filed previously through Amsterdam? You can do a search by country. Maybe they could send you a copy of a recent P3?

I also saw that your embassy offers a walk in service on certain days. Do you live in Amsterdam?
