Yes scanned copies are fine. If the petitioner has been married before then you will need a copy of his/her divorce papers or death certificate. The beneficiary submits a CENOMAR but the petitioner submits DP and/or DC that's the difference between the PI and the USA. Both the Filipino and American CO's will ask for those documents.

I'm sorry but what's DP and DC?

DP = Divorce Papers
DC = Death Certificate

 Do you know if children under the age of 10 need a separate DS 160 form or  are they included on the parents form? Trying to get clarification. Thanks.

Yes, You have to complete a DS-160 for each person. When the fiancée completes his/hers, there will be a question about who, if any, is accompanying them. Answer yes, enter the child's name, DOB.....When you complete the DS-160 for the child, answer yes on the same question, and enter the parent.

You have to make separate payments for each visa, cause you will need each receipt number.

Thank you. Do I need to put information down about their father? We won a court case to have them move here.

On the child's DS-160 it will ask for both parents information...... Just bring your original court documents to the interview to Embassy to the interview to prove he can legally travel.

The NVC seems to release the cases for the embassy every two weeks.. is that correct?

There is no set pattern to their systems of sending cases out to the Embassy's.

Do we need to bring packet 3 to medical exam?

My Consulate received my file on 6/28

I'm trying to schedule my interview and the latest available date is 7/9. So I don't know if I should just wait til they have more date open up or just book the interview date and took a chance on packet 3

Packet 3 is only for you to complete any document or for you to have a checklist of the documents that you will need for the interview. Medical will not ask for the P3. But I always say first read over the P3 in its entirely do get and idea what the requirements and steps are. In today's environment, where things are delayed, I would wait on booking any interview date. If your Embassy allows you to finish your medical, then you may think about completing it. Keep in mind that the visa expiration date is tied to the medical date and not the visa approval date. So completing the medical too far in advance may jeopardize your timeline to get onto American soil.

I was under the impression you could use the same receipt number for both (as long as you paid the right amount for both of them. I thought there was a page to enter how many you were paying for...

Here is the URL for Ukraine, and you can change the quantity at the end: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua_ua/UADepositSlip2.html?fee=62&quantity=2  previously there was a form you picked how many.
