I have checked four times since yesterday and it has not asked me...it is weird i don't know why, maybe it was nvc website i had instead of ceac. I did not see it and i checked into this all day so please to clear up, I did not see this they only needed the NVC ID number other than capatcha and immigration type. Sorry for the confusion. I had sent that message here after interacting with the website right away.

No problem @BluesDancer and @Meggan P.

I just didn't want it to cause a widespread panic with newbies thinking that an "invoice number" from NVC was required to access the CEAC website. Confusion ebated. Thanks for your replies!

Anybody here who already booked flights? I wonder what to do, booking one way or to and back. One way is so much more expensive. But I don't know, if not booking one way could cause any problems. Did you hear anything about it?

Don't book your flight until you have your visa in your hands. Not issued, not approved at the interview BUT in your hands.  We have witness ppl approved, issued and then WAM. Something happens that causes a delay. If you want to book early then get flight cancellation insurance so you are covered. Just word to the wise.

If a round trip ticket is cheaper buy it and when you land in the US then throw the return trip in the trash. No harm done.

Does anyone know if July dates are still available for visa interview in Manila? My fiancee will be filling out her DS160 application tomorrow so just wondering if August is more likely or not. Thanks!!

July 16 onwards are pretty much available until whole month of August.

Sometimes cancellation happens and the last few days July 9th and 13th were open.

Does somebody knows how is the sending to the embassy process? My case is "at nvc". Do they send in batches to the embassies ? Because it seems there is one day that everybody's status changes to "in transit", no matter the embassy the case is going to... does somebody know how this works?

They seem to send batches on Tuesdays.

Call the NVC and ask them when you were assigned your case number (if you haven't already), this may give you a better idea on how long to wait. My case was given it's case number 8th June, was in Transit 26th June. So advice really is, once you have a case number, expect to waist 2 weeks at the very least until there is some movement.
