What exactly is happening with the case at NVC? I'm just wondering why some cases that arrived at NVC the same time with ours are in transit already from yesterday or today, but not ours. Is it a sign that something is taking longer or is it again this lottery in which your case moves faster with fast officers or slow with slow ones?

I have the same question. Do not tell me hte NVC is just like the USCIS with all their randomness.

Anybody here who already booked flights? I wonder what to do, booking one way or to and back. One way is so much more expensive. But I don't know, if not booking one way could cause any problems. Did you hear anything about it?

They said "some administrative processing before we send it to the embassy" over the phone when I received my case #. There isn't much on the website that pertains to the K-1 process.

I had a similar thought! What if the flight back was months from then, like after AOS and were free to travel again?

It wasn’t so much about saying the wrong embassy. It was much more about the assumption that her embassy has the same procedure as yours. That is all.

We got our Invoice ID at the same time we got our NVC# from the same person we called at NVC. I would call NVC back again and ask for the Invoice ID if you already have the NVC#. I hope this helps. :)

Yes it does help Thank you :) . I called today and I swear i spoke to the same guy a young guy named Max..very nice guy, gave me the invoice number. Although, i did go back to Ceac and it didnt ask for it that is so weird, but I am glad I have it. I checked and our packet just says it is at NVC...will be awesome when it says in transit :)

OKie dokie our case made it to NVC monday and tonight i got us a case number :)  the ceac website says i need an invoice ID from NVC to access the site. Im guessing this will come in the mail? My fiance is working on getting his police cert so we are moving right along!

@Meggan P @BluesDancer

Can you two explain what you are using this "Invoice number"  you are referring to for?

Maybe show a screen shot of where it is used on the CEAC website?

I'm thinking it is just confusion but I wouldn't want that confusion or misinformation to spread on here...

Thanks!

I am not able to pull up the screen again that shows the Invoice number text box. When I first submitted the form, the form asked also for the invoice ID. Now the CEAC website doesn't require the invoice ID after I validated the form the first time with the Invoice ID.

Yes Yes and Yesssssssss!!!!! Our NVC case is ready!!!!!!

NOA1: November 10, 2017
NOA2: June 1, 2018

NVC#: June 19 2018
NVC Ready: June 27 2018 (June 28th Philippines)

It is interested the NVC date ready is 6/28 because that is the current date in the Philippines.

We could have scheduled our interview in the Philippines on July, 9, 2018 but my loving fiance said she wanted to take things slowly to think through each stage carefully.

Anyone else NVC status is ready?

Hi @BluesDancer. Congrats again. 😊 I just checked mine too and it says ready. It just took one day from in transit to ready. Cheers

I have checked four times since yesterday and it has not asked me...it is weird i don't know why, maybe it was nvc website i had instead of ceac. I did not see it and i checked into this all day so please to clear up, I did not see this they only needed the NVC ID number other than capatcha and immigration type. Sorry for the confusion. I had sent that message here after interacting with the website right away.
