I got great news tonight, and received my NVC Case Number! It was just generated today!    The guy on the phone was very friendly!

GOT THE CASE# Called NVC a few minutes ago and tadaaaa got it . 3 weeks after NOA2. She said they just got it.   Another step done. Woohoo.

PS: ISO: Can I pay anyone to refresh the AIS website for me every ten minutes so I can get a gawd dayum interview appt some day before I turn 41. Day 7 and Yeezus Chryst, I'm tired. I'll pay in either cookies or unsarcastic VJ advice, your choice...

No you do not need to be worried. You're still in the normal (for the time we are in) processing time. The wait is usually 2-4 weeks for case number and then 1 day to 2 weeks to get to your Embassy. Trust the system and just a little more patience.

Thank you for asking! As far as we can tell, the only item we have left is my Filipina needs to get her NBI for her old misspelled name. After that I feel like we have everything we need to proceed. I am still going to double check again after she completes her last task. :thumbs:

Thank you so much. Yes, this is where we can check our status using NVC number. What I was doing wrong was checking Nonimmigrant status but should have been checking using Immigrant. Thank you very much, everyone.

Sorry to hear that. I got the online notification of approval on June 11th and the letter said it was approved June 9th. But either way, I was approved after you. Hang in there, yours is probably there and waiting to be picked up by someone to put in the system, I am assuming.

Afternoon Everyone,

 

My case in finally in transit to the embassy! Yey!

 

NOA2: 06/01/2018

NVC Received: 06/18/2018

NVC sent to consulate: 06/26/2018

 

I haven't received an email from the NVC with the instructions yet :C so i need to keep waiting.
