Not knowing what Embassy you are processing through prevents us from responding to many of your questions. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country so it makes it easy for us to reply. Each Embassy has different set of process's and no two are the same.

So if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Depending on your Embassy can be as short as 1 month or sometimes up to 3 months. It depends on the Embassy and how fast you work. Again, since I don't know your Embassy, this is a wild estimation.

Thanks

Updated. Thank you!

Go to the top of this page and under the tab "portals" on the blue ribbon choose it and then search for your country. Lots of information there.

Any Chance you have this information for Bosnia and Herzegovina?

All I have is this https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ba/niv/information/required_docs which should be a good start. Also read what is here on VJ http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Bosnia-Herzegovina&cty=Sarajevo.

Called NVC just now, they said they have not received it, and recommended calling back in six weeks. They wouldn't take an email address either, as she stated there would be no where to save the information if they had not received the case yet.

I did try emailing the NVC as well using the instructions on the NOA2, so we'll see.

Just keep calling back daily. Once they have it, and even though you might not get your case # right away, you can then give them your email.

PS it's kind of early for you to be calling yet if your NOA2 was Jun 4. Give it a couple more days.

Thanks for the info! It's been two weeks (technically 16 days as I just realized my NOA2 states it was approved 6/2), which I still feel is too early to call, but that's what most people here are suggesting.

From following many timelines, my research shows anywhere from 16 plus days is when most get to NVC lately. Not really any earlier and A LOT a lot later. Betcha you'll get it this week!

Hello everyone! We just received our NOA2 today (June 18th) after 228 days waiting! Yay!! NOA1 was Nov 2nd. Sooo excited to finally reach that next step :D

We are going through the UAE Embassy in Abu Dhabi, as that is where my fiance lives and works. So any info/updates on that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! Now we start the 2 week wait to contact the NVC Center

@Greenbaum Should I change my profile to reflect the UAE Flag? I originally created my profile and answered "India" Because that is the country my fiance is from. BUT he is living and working in Dubai for the past 4 years....so wasn't sure which is better to have on my profile to answer questions and such for the next steps...? Thanks in advance!

:secret:I was just reading your posting above this one and when I read about UAE I was scratching my head when I saw the flag from India on your profile. :D

Yes, it would help others to identify which Embassy so that they can answer your question. So use the flag from the Country that the Embassy that he will use.

Jon called NVC today too and got the same very answer. Our NOA2 is June 1. There's nothing we can do but wait and call them daily. Let's hope for the best!
