Hi!

I got my interview at Paris Embassy today. I get approved! Everything was so fast, he asked me questions, then tell me congratulation you will received your visa in 10 days. I say thank you and i left fast because I was happy to share the good new with my mom and my fiancé, but then I asked question to myself

He never asked me to show him the I-134 affidavit of support ! And I don’t know if I had to sign something before I left, why he didn’t ask me for the affidavit of support ?

Hey there Nayrey, Congrats to you and so not to worry because even my fiancee in the Philippines had her interview and was not asked to see the I-134 affidavit either so that will come later when we file the I-186 affidavit of support when we do the adjustemnt of status. So for now just relax and wait for your visa and then after wards you can book your flight to the US.

Hello,

Finally after 30 days after the interview the online status change to Administrative Processing past Thursday Oct 4th my fiancé was approved on the interview. I heard if you are approved on the interview the status will change quickly from AP to Issued possibly in couple of days is there anyone here on the same boat as me. I hope it doesn't stay on AP for long since the interview was approved.

Any advise or experience would be greatly appreciated.

This is another case of no one can say for sure when you will receive your passport with visa. I have seen an Embassy release the visa within hours of the interview and then I have seen some that have taken upwards of six weeks. Don't want to be a killjoy but the reality is you have to continue to:clock: Congratulations by the way.

Does anyone know for sure if i am allowed to attend the interview with my fiancé at the Frankfurt embassey?

You should post your question in the sub-forum for your country/region found here https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/95-europe-amp-eurasia-except-the-uk-and-russia/

There is a far more "German" applicants located there that can answer your questions.

Does anyone know if there has to be a second medical exam once your fiance comes to the states? I read that if they had one within a year, they don't need another, but I was just told by a USCIS approved Dr. that they will have another and it will cost $650.

Not necessary as long as they have satisfied the vaccination requirements and have filed for AOS within one year of the date of their foreign medical.

Thank you! That is what I was reading but i spoke with 2 doctors approved in my area and neither would just do vaccinations to make sure he had all of them without doing another exam.

Right! And THAT is what we call the money grab. They can charge whatever they want and refuse to do whatever they want in order to charge you an arm and a leg.

That is why it is hammered into our heads to get our medical and ALL vaccines done in our home country at the Visa stage of our K1 process. By not doing it you are setting yourself up for HUGE unplanned expenses when you arrive in the US and try to apply for AOS.

K1visaHopeful is SPOT ON!! He is giving you the "boots on the ground" response.

I can only expand a little.  If she did the vaccinations in her home country, and the you have a copy of the DS-3025 and it is marked complete on the lower left hand corner then there is no need for using a CS. They will charge you an arm and a leg. They treat you as though you are stupid.
