Hi everyone,
my fiance (petitioner) and I are not sure wether we need a co-sponsor for the I-134 Affidavit of Support, or not.

My fiance just finished Grad School this May. Next Monday he is starting a job that meets the minimum income requirements. Because he was a full-time student, he does not have any income tax returns and W2s for 2016/2017.

So we will probably send all supporting documents for the K1 visa application to the US Consulate in Frankfurt in September. Our plan is to include the 3-4 pay stubs that he will have by then, an employment letter stating position and salary, and a letter to explain the income in 2016/2017.

So now my question is, do you think that this is enough evidence for the I-134, or is it obligatory to get a co-sponsor since we don’t have the income tax returns?

Thank you!! :-)
