Hi Guys, so i filled my papers to remove condtiions last year on May 23,2017. Ever since the status online has been "Case was recieved" and it hasn't changed yet. My question to you guys is: Is the appointment letter number which starts with EAC different from the recipt number on the extenstion letteR?

And which one of those numbers will be updated as far as the status online? I'm so confused cause two days ago I called USCIS and asked for an update since it's been 372 days that I have't heard anything and he said on february 26 you case was transfered to the local office but I don't see that when I look with the recipt number on the biometrics letters.

I filled in Vermont Service Center can someone please help?

Should I just search in the case status page the number on the extension letter instead? Maybe that will give me more info. I've never searched the number on the extension letter. I only searched the one in the biotmetrics letter.

Case Was Received At My Local Office

On April 9, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number EACXXXXX, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

When I callled USCIS the guy that I spoke too said your case was transfered on February 26 to the local office but now that I searched with the extension letter it says April 9th(KEEP IN MIND I FILLED IN MAY 2017. IT took them two month to transfer my case? And also now that is transfered what does that mean? Is that for an interview or is that because they have a lot of paper work they are dealing with? I'm so stressed!

Mine was like that too im feb filer 2017 then got the online status feb 2018 they said that just transfer from table to other table or room to other room or floor to other floor, but if you received a notice of transfer by mail it could be a sign of interview or they transfer your papers toother uscis service..like in cali they transfer some cases to texas and nebraska.

You filed in California?

And Wow You've been waiting for 15 months now. Are you thinking of doing a request?

I never received a letter either so maybe mine is as well on the same office just moved to a different person or something. IDK. It seems like a lot of people are getting that message.

Lol probably they open your folder........

I'm already registered to this google spread sheet with some people who filled in May as well and some of them already got approved.

Some people waited 307 days someone 313,352,379,372,393,382,363 all different dates. And some of them filled after me and got approved based on this sheet that I'm registed too. It's very strange and it stresses me out.

You will probably receive an interview.

My wife's case took almost 18 months. Once we received the notice that it was transfers the original recipe number started to work. We received approval about a month or so after the possible transfer with out an interview or anything. It is good your case was transferd. You may be close. See our timeline for dates.
