@USBoston Can you share how you found out your interview letter was sent out? Did you get an email alert? Funny thing is that you filed 4 days prior to our case but we did walkin biometrics 2 weeks prior to you completing yours and yet we are still waiting for interview letter whereas you got yours already on 8/30

Im from westfield ma and 2x a month uscis from lawrence ma go to springfield ma to had the interview there. That's  what the officer who interview me told me

 They've been doing it for 6 yrs now. They had a small office in the withcomb  building  whre thery to the interview. I did my oathaking  in springfield too. 150 people whre naturalized  that day of sept 18.

  • June 13, 2013------------ Met in philippines( face to face)
  • June 14, 2013------------ Got engaged
  • June 17, 2013------------ My Fiance went back to usa

k-1 visa journey process start at:

July 09, 2013------------- Filed for I-129F (using USPS mail)

July 12, 2013------------- Status is delivered- acceptance

July 17, 2013------------- Status is regarding reciept number and routed at vermont service center.

July 22, 2013------------- Status regarding alien registration number was change..

July 23, 2003------------- NOA1 hardcopy recieve in the mail.

August 06, 2013----------- Status regarding transferred to a new service center.

August 10, 2013----------- NOAT hardcopy recieved by mail it indicate transfer to texas.

August 23, 2013----------- Status regarding I-129f is APPROVED!!!

August 30, 2013----------- NOA2 Hardcopy recieved by mail.

August 30, 2013----------- Status regarding that they shipped the approved or re-affirmed case to the department of state for visa processing.

September 09, 2013-------- My fiance called nvc hotline today sept 12, 213 at 12 mdnight here. and sept 11, 2013 at 12 nn in usa.. then

finally got our mcn.. the lady said it was recieved by nvc sept 09..

September 16, 2013-------- NVC LETTER recieved by mail.

October 7, 2013------------ medical

October 09, 2013----------- medical passed ( k1 and k2 )

October 18, 2013-----------instruction letter from usem recieved

October 23, 2013-----------Interview approved BUT GOT 221G- CENOMAR REVERIFICATION.

November 25, 2013 VISA ON HAND FINALLY

OATH TAKING = september 18, 2018 in springfield armory, massachusetts officer gave me the oath schedule right after the interview. he told me to wait outside and sit and wait for the paper for the sched interview.
FIELD OFFICE= The Whitcomb Building in Springfield MA.( was under lawrence, massachusetts field office)
The officer who interviewed me told that they do 2x a month interview at The whitcomb building in springfield Ma but they are from laurence , MA field office.
 

GC-Date: The 'Resident Since' Date located on your first green card
Sent: Date N-400 was mailed to USCIS
Cashd: Date your check was cashed / credit card was charged by USCIS
NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification
Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics)
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview shceduling
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview
Interview: Date of your interview
Oath: Date Oath taken

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview

I received an email yesterday that action had been taken on my case.  I logged into my account as soon as I could.  My interview letter was scheduled and a copy of the letter.  My appointment is at 10.35 on Oct 23 - Mt Laurel, NJ.   Anyone have any recommendations on additional docs to take?  I'm taking originals of everything I can, from the list I submitted with my N400, plus online printouts from everything else.  Mt Laurel does the oath the same day so my husband is coming with me.  I also just so happen to have family visiting from the UK that week so it would be great if they could come in for the Oath but I don't know how many people they allow.  

 

 I filed June 14, 2018.

Hello all, 

I had my interview a couple of hours ago and it went successfully. At the end of the interview the officer said that she is recommending me for the citizenship but she also does a quality review (basically another background check) for all applicants, and once that is done I should get oath ceremony notification. 

I am a little puzzled as I have not read others going through the quality review. My other confusion is that I received two emails at the same time and I am wondering if the quality review has already been completed or not. 

 

Got this email - - 

We recommended that your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, Receipt Number IOE**********, be approved. On September 20, 2018, your case was submitted for quality review. 

 

And then this email - - 

We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number IOE*********, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date.

 

The interview itself was pretty straightforward. The yes and no questions. Apparently the system showed that I left a bunch of those blank, but I didn't. The print out copy I had showed all of them to be filled. 

We discussed my traffic citation and I gave her the certified disposition from county Court showing I did pay it off. I personally suggest everyone to keep and present all citation information, some officers are more stricter than the others. 

The civic questions were easy. It went really fast. 

The English test was pretty simple as well.

How did you get the official citation information? Would one have to contact each city DMV where they have resided for this information?

Hello, 

I went to my local county traffic court office. Cost me $2.00 but the price may vary depending on your county court.

The letter came in the mail yesterday. Gerard's Oath Ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on October 17, 2018! 😁

I passed my interview and was told by the case officer I will receive my oath letter in the mail in 4-6 weeks.  I took all the documentation with me such as 3 years previous joint IRS tax transcripts, joint bank account statements, mortgage statement, life insurance declaration, auto insurance invoice, child birth certificate, marriage certificate, U.S citizenship proof of spouse but none of it was reviewed.  The case officer was very surprised I was at my interview considering I was 40 weeks pregnant 2 days from my due date.  This is the same evidence I submitted with my N-400 when filing.  Other than the Yes/No questions, I remember the following questions below:

 

When was the declaration of independence adopted?

Longest River

How many years sis the President elected?

Who is the speaker of the house?

What territory was purchased from France

 

Was told to write "Lincoln was our President during the civil war"
