IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Who in their right mind, travels with almost 60,000$ CASH in their bag????

 

Would he go cry to media if someone would just snatch his bag from him on airport or whenever? 

 

I have anxiety when I carry couple hundreds with me. Lol. 

 

Seriously. And the article said he didn't declare is also? Since that wasn't clear to me.

Well the CBP states there's no limit on money you can carry out but as far as I am aware he should have filed a FinCen105 with the CBP at the time. If he didn't that would be pretty stupid... but I'd imagine there was a language barrier and he probably had no clue.

Agree.....he came to the US in 2005.  His attorney is using every excuse in the book...

This is much bigger than this case. The federal government is engaging in strong arm robbery through the civil asset forfeiture laws. If he committed a crime charge him and then legally seize the proceeds of the crime. Trump and the republicans railed against this during Obama's presidency and yet they are now in power and are doing the same thing.
