I 751 Receipt number

Hi everyone

I got my biometric letter says that they gonna use my old fingerprint but I got the same  receipt number as the first letter starting with WACxxxxxxxxx.

I  saw many people got two reciept number so that they can use the second one to check their statut 

Is anyone have the same thing?

Use the number at the bottom right of your biometrics letter.

I recently spoke with a immigration supervisor I was told they've now gotten rid of the second receipt number im not sure how truthful this is but it was explained to me the main number you receive now when you file is the one they are using hence the reason alot of persons starting seeing action on those once obsolete number before. apparently it was due to faults they were having where because they had two receipt numbers for i751 they lost track and was sending over wrong information like they had 1 million 751 cases but ended up reporting 2 million because of the receipt numbers so they decided to merge everything back to the original number that comes with the NOA1 as this is really the number they use internally to process the cases the other they would only update when they want the customer to know its approved or such
