Forgotten middle name

Hello all,

 

My wife and I recently got married in New Zealand and I am close to send our I 130 to the USA. On the I 130 my wife (the beneficiary) included her mother's middle name, but do to an oversight either by us or NZ government her mother's middle name is not on our marriage certificate. Will this cause any discrepancy for USCIS? It is almost too late to redo the information because we are both leaving New Zealand in two weeks...

I believe that as long as it matches her passport and birth certificate it should be okay.

My wife, the beneficiary, does not have a middle name. The oversight was with her mother's middle name. On her I-30A we have her mother's middle name but not on our marriage certificate. Not sure of the case officer would see this discrepancy and give us an RFE.

If you haven’t sent it already, just change the page of the I-130A form with her name on it to an accurate one.

What do you think about my father's name being Steven on my birth certificate, but under his SS# it is Stephen. Do you think I should write Steven or Stephen for petitoners parental information?
