It won't, you'll have to call them and ask. You should start calling about a week after USCIS sends the approved petition.

Thanks peachouille, how will I know when the USCIS have sent my petition to the NVC

I uploaded the docs but when I clicked submit, only some of the docs show submitted while some still say uploaded. Has this happened with anyone before?

Edit: I just realized I hadn't read your question carefully and my answer doesn't answer it. But the link is still helpful (for many other questions) so I'll leave it here. :-p

NVC says this is normal. I found these FAQs very helpful: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/after-petition-approved/begin-nat-visa-center/ceac-faqs-2.html.html

The answer is under this question:

Can I view or print my documents after they are uploaded?

Yes!! Mine happened and I called them and the lady said it was because that documents were not relevant for my case and was not necessary... but I got documented qualified!! ☺️🤞🏼 Is yours accepted + submitted or uploaded + submitted? Mine was accepted and submitted and I got the case complete.

So I finally I had my interview today in Lagos Embassy and got in around 6am local time. We re screened in. And stood on quene for so long ( Legs pain). Original documents and fingers printings went well. I was finally called and I face one young white lady. So nice and she asked the following questions.

Co- Good morning

Me- answer

Co-Who is calling u?

       How did u meet?

When was the last time u see him?

Show me his tax transcript 2017.

Me- I gave her the income tax return, w2 and 1099

Co- Can I see some pictures?

And finally she said ur visa is APPROVED. So happy and tear of joy almost came out from my eyes in front of her since 2016 without my better half. I thank God is finally over. All thanks to God Almighty and everyone here. I really appreciate u all. And I pray all of us waiting will be united with our love ones soon ijn. Thanks

Congratulations and all the best to both of you guys! It is a long stressful process and you've finally passed it by!

Thank you so much! You made me feel better. I have been calling NVC but the reps don't know why this is happening.

Thank you so much!! You made me feel so much better. I have been calling NVC and the reps don't know why this is happening. My docs show uploaded + submitted and some also show uploaded + accepted. I hope I get CC soon. I am extremely depressed. Good luck to you for your process.
