For mine a pivot case the email came about 2 days after getting a case number.

Thanks 😊 I was still able to get in and complete DS 261.. just waiting the email and for the fees to be invoiced now. How long should I expect to wait those to open up?

I am not sure how you were able to do the ds261 without paying the fees. After i paid the fees it took about 3 days later i was able to start uploading the AOS documents and do the ds261 and the civil documents. There will be no email notification that says payments cleared you will have to check on your own. After your documents are submitted it takes about 7 days to get accepted and for interview it can be 1-2 months. All depends on your country and also country policy on police background checks

Guys, am I in the right thread - NVC Filers - June 2018?

My I-130 was approved in August 2017 and I had to file an I-824 to move it to the NVC, would I need to call the NVC to make sure they have received it?

Hello Guys!

I had my CR1 interview in Lagos on the 7th of June.

It went smooth. The CO asked more about me,  my job and education history and i was approved. I was given the usual 2 white papers and asked to pick up y visa in 5 business days. The following 2 days my status on CEAC didn't change from READY so i thought since it weekend maybe money morning it will change.

On the 11th of June i received an email from the consulate asking me to send an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV), all the research i have participated in, all my academic publications, all the courses i have taken and will take next semester. They also stated that my passport will be return while my case will be placed on administrative processing which will take at most 90 days and if we do not hear from them after 90 days, we should email the consulate.

NB!! I am currently pursuing a PhD in Biomechanical engineering in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I also worked as a research assistant in Abu Dhabi

The following day June 13th, i collected my passport and dropped off all requested documents at DHL office where i got my passport.

Meanwhile, my status on CEAC didn't change until the 19th of June from READY to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING. There was no activity on my page on CEAC until last 2 days ago. The last updated date changed to 25th of June but the status remained the same.

Following numerous reads i think i was TAL (technology alert list).

Has anyone here ever gone through this? How long did it last? What does the date change mean?

One TAL case I saw here last year, also a Nigerian lasted alittle over 2months because it is usually sent to Washington DC for a proper review.

The several date change means they are working on your case.

Don't mind the little delay, your visa will be issued soon by God's grace.

Can somebody tell me if the new website will show when the NVC receives my approved I-130?

It won't, you'll have to call them and ask. You should start calling about a week after USCIS sends the approved petition.
