Can the petitioner sign for the beneficiary r leave the signature section blank ??.

You can't keep the sign section blank.or else they won't accept the Ds-260.You have to SIGN it.

We re-uploaded our docs today but when I click the submit button, some of the docs show submitted while some still say uploaded. Has anyone experienced this before? My husband talked to a rep at NVC and he said we have everything and that everything is fine. I hope he isn't lying.

Thank God.Finally u have the most awaited case number.Next steps are as follows -

1-Ds-261(choice of an agent) .If u have an attorney I think u don't need to choose an agent ( that happened in my case)

2- pay both the fees( iv & AOS) .For paying the fees u must have the Invoice number along with the case number

3- when your fees will show  as paid(takes 3-7days)  Fill up Ds-260 online.

4- Submit Petitioner's financial and Beneficiary's Civil documents ( photo copies) .Through mail if non pivot. But if pivot through online submission u have to submit documents.

5- Wait for them to receive, review and a case complete

Thank you for all these information. How long take the whole process please? Do I need to put my spouse's email address and mail address because she gonna move next month, I think  it is better to put mine for her.

Hey there,

I received a confirmation email from NZ Police Vetting 4 days after my request. It said "Your Visa request has been processed and emailed to the US Consulate".

I've heard that each Section 14 request is only valid for 3 months, so if your interview is after that time period you may need to re-request one.

Thanks! I still don’t have a case number so will do when I have one :)

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question: My case seems so complicated for me. I am married to US Citizen for over 2 years and we have a baby. We got married when we were in the US and I had to leave because of family emergency. I applied for asylum during my stay and left while it was in process. I didn't overstay illegally, only my concern is I returned to the country which I've shouldn't because of asylum.

What is my chance to get my IR-1 visa approved. I am worry worried and we have been waiting for so long. P.S. My husband came to visit several times while we were apart. Our child is US Citizen, she got US Citizenship through my husband at local US Embassy.

Talk to a lawyer. Returning to your country after submitting an asylum petition is a huge red flag and this petition will almost surely be considered frivolous. The usual consequences of this action is inadmissibility to US; no idea if a marriage with citizen might help somehow. Talk to a competent lawyer.

Hello
I have a question related to the affidavit of support.
Is the current individual income the amount entered on form W2?
If I send the last transcript do I need to send the W2 for second and third year?
Thank you already for your answers.
