My husband added his father as a joint sponsor but we received a checklist saying that we should add him as a household member. Does anyone know how are we suppose to remove him as a joint sponsor on CEAC website?  Or do we just add him as a household member without removing him as a joint sponsor?

Did your husband ever claimed him on his tax return?

Hey all!

Last night my wife had a dream we got the interview letter, and today there it was! :D

The interview letter came to both of us via email and contained the date of the interview. Then a couple of hours later I got an email from the consulate with specific information for the medical exam and interview (I'm the applicant). Our Case Complete date was 29 May, and our interview is set for 24 July at the Auckland consulate. We're not a PIVOT case.

So excited for the final leg of this long journey!

Hi Raiona, congrats!!!

may I ask how long did your vetting section 14 got to the consulate? Did u get a notification they received it in the Embassy? Thanks!

Ukraine, as the flag in my profile info suggests :)

Did I understand you right? You are from Ukraine and you submitted the documents via mail not on CEAC?

Yes. Cases for employment-based visas are not PIVOT in Kyiv embassy, as opposed to IR/CR visas. So I had to use snail mail.

Oh I see now. Thank you so much for your reply. Feeling so desperate since we resubmitted our docs on June 4. Still heard nothing from NVC.

You're welcome!

I feel for you man :( NVC is the most frustrating part of the entire process. I waited the full 8 weeks to get a case number and the lack of any info other than "we received your mail" was absolutely depressing. Do not lose hope though, you will get through it eventually!
