Hi.

Please is the police report part of the documents to be submitted to NVC,or it's just to take along to interview?

A copy of the police report is needed at the NVC and you take the original with you to the interview.

No idea. My colleague waited for his interview appointment slightly over a week—his CC was in late February and he had his interview scheduled in early March. The interview itself took place in April.

I think our embassy is more loaded than other Eastern European ones due to number of K or IR/CR applicants. But still not as overloaded as Brazilian embassies where people have to wait for 2–3 month for an available date.

I will post here once I get my appointment.

Include EVERYTHING on the checklist you received. The beneficiary needs to provide proof of US status, and other documents to qualify as a financial sponsor.

And you must submit that marriage certificate copy again at this stage. And the original must be brought to the interview.

Don't delay your application by leaving things out.

Thanks. I haven't gotten a checklist or instructions from NVC yet so I am just trying to get all of my documents prepared now. This will help me get things ready so I can send them NVC right away. I appreciate the help!

maybe you know if  it depend on a country how fast you get cc?

You really can’t tell. I had to wait over six weeks for a case number but once I did, every process went fast afterwards. My embassy is slow now so I’ve been waiting close to 2months for interview. I think pivot cases get fast cc because everything is done electronically

My husband added his father as a joint sponsor but we received a checklist saying that we should add him as a household member. Does anyone know how are we suppose to remove him as a joint sponsor on CEAC website?  Or do we just add him as a household member without removing him as a joint sponsor?
