Who get the nvc case number around 1st may(nvc recieve date )?

 

My case was sent to the department of state for  further processing on1st may but still no nvc case number and invoice number

Didnt u ask for ur case to be send to the supervisor yet. You are well above 9 weeks

we called  NVC and they said wait for more weeks

Hi guys. So when we first started with the petition we were one year married. Now we are waiting for the interview and have almost finished 2 years of marriage. However our visa class status is cr1 on the nvc  website. Would it be change to ir1 at any point since that we would have passed 2 years of marriage by the time of the interview?

Not sure, theoretically yes. But it doesn't really matter because as long as you enter the US after your 2nd anniversary, you'll get a 10-year green card, even with a CR-1 visa.

Also curious in preparing the NVC packet how many pages of chats/Skype would you recommend including? All our communication is via Skype unless I’m there (every 6 months)..

We had the same problem and after we called to have it forwarded to a supervisor we received our case number the very next day. We are a pivot case though, I don´t know if that changes anything in the procedure of getting the case number.

 I´m crossing my fingers for yall. Looks like NVC is super backed up at the moment

Hello,

I obtained my Case # and invoice # yesterday via phone from NVC. The rep stated I could go ahead with choosing an agent immediately without waiting for the instructions email. 

I went ahead and complete the DS-261 Choosing an Agent, clicked submit. It booted me back to the login page. Now the page says "INCOMPLETE". When I click on "Incomplete" it has me login back in, takes me back to the incomplete screen.

What do I do?
