First and maybe last post, just to share my timeline of the uscis and nvc steps.

I130 submitted (priority date) --2017-07-17

noa2 - 2018-02-23 (after 2weeks of rfe)

USCIS Mail out - 2018-03-08

recieved by nvc -2018-03-19

case no. - 2018-05-02 ( by phone)

received by nvc pivot department -2018-05-04

email with case no and invoice id, fees paid 2018-05-30

financial document submitted 2018-06-02

ds260 submitted 2018-06-04

civil documents submitted 2018-06-06

receive email cc 2018-06-07.

Congrats! Did you ask for expedite or something to get such a quick CC as a pivot case?

Congratulations for a quick CC.. I submitted the documents on 06/02 as well and I haven't heard anything yet. This wait is a killer..

Scan documents in 50 to 75 DPI and it should keep it under 2MB file size. No need to scan documents with super high resolution.

I rather have everything in a single file to keep things easier.

We did submit i-864EZ in one document, then as financial proof taxfiling papers of 2017 along with W2´s of 2017, 2016 and 2015 all together in one document under the taxpaper section and then in a third document in the current proof of employment section the paystubs of the past 3 months. Now basically we have been told that we were supposed to submit taxpapers in one file, W2 of 2017 in a second file, W2 of 2016 in a third and 2015 in a forth, (plus the additional proof of current employment as is). So with the i-864EZ we should have uploaded 6 documents total.

When I called they said that is just what they can tell me should have been done but whoever will work on the case might or might not send a checklist for it...she said it really depends on who´s reviewing the case.

I guess we both just gotta wait and see what happens….we uploaded our documents may26th

 I have no idea how he split the documents. I just left the AOS part to him and I did the civil documents. I know he didn’t do the EZ form because for some reason he had to do the long form. He’s self employed so not sure if that’s something to do with it. I think he had about 13 pages of forms split into 4 parts and then his tax stuff seperate.

 

I suppose we’ll find out at some point if it was ok or not! Fingers x-ed!

No, we did not do anything special...it was a big surprise to us as well, we were expecting to wait for another 6 weeks...

My scan date is May 21st and No CC or Checklist yet. Anyone whose Scan date prio to 21st May who got CC. Please update. It seems NVC is slowing down to review the documents.
