 Hi :)
NVC hasn't changed the date they received my case to the actual date yet!

Any updates on your cases?

Hi! :) Yesterday I received the welcome email with case and invoice numbers and paid AOS and IV fees. So far I am waiting for fees to be PAID so that I can access DS-260.

What's your old receipt date?

Waiting on the interview date. What did ya'll needed to bring? They say original documents of everything. So I will bring my stuff that I uploaded on the NVC page. But do I also need to bring original things from my husband?

Cheers

Is that true? I thought that was only for interview process.

And how do you include chat in your supporting docs. My chat with my wife is literally thousands of pages.

We did not submit any proof of relationship with NVC...my husband brought it to the interview. I think if none was sent with the I-130, then maybe it's a good idea to send to NVC...but if you sent it in the beginning it's not necessary to send to NVC. Just bring it to the interview 😊

4-24-17 I-130 sent to Chicago Lock Box

4-25-17 NOA 1 & sent to TSC

11-15-17 NOA 2

12-26-17 Case sent to Dept. of State

1-08-18 NVC Received case

3-12-18 Case Number Assigned / AOS & IV Fees Paid

3-14-18 DS-260 Completed

3-16-18 Uploaded Civil Documents

3-21-18 Uploaded AOS Documents

3-26-18 Checklist to reupload docs

3-29-18 Finished uploading docs

4-4-18 Case Complete

4-13-18 Received interview email

5-18-18 Interview date

5-24-18 Visa Issued

Hi guys,

This is my first post, so please excuse my ignorance. so, our case took forever to get the USCIS approval (14 months). another forever to get the the Case created at the NVC (4 months). but it seems to be getting some traction now. I'm a USC and the case is IR1.

May 23, we submitted the DS260.

May 29, we uploaded the civil documents.

May 30, we finished the Affoedative.

all was done through the CEAC as we our embassy is in Sweden.

My questions is what is next and how long does it take to get the interview scheduled ?

Note, have an attorney is pain. we paid too much, got nothing other than filing the papers. he kept asking for money to do follow ups, so I did every single piece so far. even when we got the case created, he claimed being busy and wanted to delay it two weeks. I went ahead and did the work myself.

Thanks in advance.

Hi! I'm going through the embassy in Sweden as well since Norway's embassy doesn't handle immigrant visas anymore. So sorry to hear about the struggles you've had so far! Hope this next process will go faster for you:energy:

I submitted all my documents May 22nd and have yet to receive a cc/rfe. I saw Stockholm usually schedules interviews in the middle of the month for the next month so if we can get cc before the 15th we should be able to get a July or at least an August interview.

So now it's just waiting for a case closed or a rfe and then interview schedule!

seems to be slower again- I uploaded everything on May 17th.... PIVOT Case, still no CC or RFE

Same submit date for us, please keep us posted when you hear back. I have a sinking feeling that we reset our wait counter.
