Just called nvc and this nice gentleman told me today is my lucky day they just schedule my interview.  interview date July thank u lord CC June 12.

I'm glad that they did. Yeah, we have been pretty lucky with our timeline so far. Anyone know the average time between case complete and interview date?

You can check the CC to interview thread in this forum for a better idea of UK specific embassy timelines, but according to the spreadsheet, across the board, it's 65 days.

If you keep calling repeatedly you'll eventually have the option of waiting another 20 minutes for a rep. I had to try about 10x consecutively in my calls yesterday.

Just call back in few minutes. I think it is their automated system. If there are already so many people waiting in line, it automatically disconnects the call.

I know it is slow.. today was my first time calling them in last 3 weeks.. I got my case number last week, fees paid, documents submitted.

How do I find out if I’m pivot case or not? Case will be in Colombia. 

My husband called NVC and the rep told him “we should get a case number in 3 weeks” due to him being a citizen and gave him a personal phone number?!?

Following NVC I see it is a minimum of 8 weeks to get a case number..

Colombia is not a pivot case. It took me 6 weeks upon receipt to get a case number from NVC.

Yeah I don’t want to call everyday, I don’t think that will make them move faster, but the whole opposite!
