If I recall correctly from other posters, yes, UK recently switched to PIVOT. You got your case number quickly so congrats.

I'm glad that they did. Yeah, we have been pretty lucky with our timeline so far. Anyone know the average time between case complete and interview date?

You can check the CC to interview thread in this forum for a better idea of UK specific embassy timelines, but according to the spreadsheet, across the board, it's 65 days.

I can't believe that we can't call NVC today... they just said that due to large amount calls all our representatives are busy assisting other customers, please visit our website for FAQs.. and then call ended itself... :(

If you keep calling repeatedly you'll eventually have the option of waiting another 20 minutes for a rep. I had to try about 10x consecutively in my calls yesterday.

Just call back in few minutes. I think it is their automated system. If there are already so many people waiting in line, it automatically disconnects the call.

They seriously needs to hire more staff to make this process faster.

NVC and USCIS are completey funded with visa and immigration fees, which is absurdly high as is. In their defense, some people here are under the impression that calling NVC everyday multiple times a day will move thier application faster. If they are going to hire more staff, hire more people to  process the apps. It is frustratingly slow.

How do I find out if I’m pivot case or not? Case will be in Colombia.

My husband called NVC and the rep told him “we should get a case number in 3 weeks” due to him being a citizen and gave him a personal phone number?!?

Following NVC I see it is a minimum of 8 weeks to get a case number..

Colombia is not a pivot case. It took me 6 weeks upon receipt to get a case number from NVC.

Yeah I don’t want to call everyday, I don’t think that will make them move faster, but the whole opposite!
