We just received our CC!

Our documents were submitted May 22.

On June 11, we received notice that one of my documents was scanned incorrectly.

Our Lawyer re-scanned the document, but unfortunately she didn't remove the rejected document

from the stack, and replace it with the new scan.

It just sat there for a week, until I called, and a helpful agent

explained what was needed to be done.

The new scan was submitted June 20, and we got our CC today!

Hoping for an August interview, but not holding my breath.

Our one year anniversary for the NOA1 is July 11!

How long is it taking for NVC to receive the initial NOA2 from USCIS? I got my letter in the mail from USCIC, but no updates to the case online. I figure that's fine, but NVC today said they have not received anything and to wait 6 weeks? I'm hoping that's an overstatement... It's been 1 week since my NOA2 date. I know case number takes 8 weeks, but I dont want to wait 14 weeks!

i dont know about this. i didn't hear that if i will need a police certificate at point of entry.  for Pakistan applicants it's not even required to bring a police certificate at the time of interview. i heard from other forums.

but if you think it's required at the point of entry. you can always apply for a new one. just to stay on safe side (that's if it actually is required at the POE)

mine is already expired, nvc takes allot of time then till interview most probably everybody's PCC get's expired.

Alright

thank you

Just waiting on a translation for my husband's Italian Police Certificate and then I'm submitting all of our docs to NVC. Praying on a speedy CC since I've taken some time crossing my t's and dotting my i's making sure everything is accurate and submitted appropriately. My only concern is the stupid CEAC is asking for a Greece Police Certificate even though he only lived there for 10 months and he hasn't resided there since May of 2017. I called today and the agent told me to submit a letter instead explaining why it's not applicable to our case.

PIVOT CASE

It doesn’t matter. If someone resided more than 6 months in a country after the age of 16 y/o they need a PC. I had to obtain 4 myself.. Italian, Colombian, Australian and New Zealand. Make sure you check you have 2 from Italy ! Good luck x

HI there, same thing happened to us last week... My wife called them 5 times and NVC has no clue how to remove my wife's mother as a joint sponsor and add her as her household member...... So unprofessional!

So what I did is add my mother in law as a household member (using her given name because the website won't let me), uploaded all her documents and when i tried to hit the submit button it wouldn't let me... So under "joint sponsor" i put everything as "not available" and submitted everything yesterday... Now fingers crossed, I hope they will figure it out on their side.

Please keep us updated and I will do the same

I told my husband about this and he said we should do the same. He asked me to say thanks to you for all your help. 😊
