Woohoo!!! Okay, now question:

We have a Case Complete! When I log on to the CEAC, everything says accepted. I check the messages. There are three new messages received. One saying that all documents have been accepted, and then 2 more making document specifications, like changing the passport and something about W-2s,....yet, all documents were accepted?  What's the best plan of action here?  Resubmit? Call?

Has anybody had this happen?

I think it's better to call NVC. Most probably they'll ask you to bring these docs to the interview. Good luck.

All my documents were accepted and I had a message left saying upload all W2s for 2017. I got a CC email right away. I uploaded my W2 for 2017 and it's still sitting in Submitted stage.

Did you get an email saying that now they will schedule your interview? Call NVC and confirm before you upload new documents over already accepted docs.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the 2018 Waiting Games.

They rejected all my father in law's documents under joint sponsor and asked to delete these docs and add him as household member and submit his docs under my husband's name. My husband added him as a household member but when he uploaded his docs, they still show uploaded and not submitted. I have called NVC so many times. The reps have no idea why this is happening and they don't know how to remove him as joint sponsor. They asked me to send them an email requesting to remove him as a joint sponsor. I did that. Another question: we have to add him as household member by clicking on 'Add household member' on CEAC website, right?

that's weird. for me they asked to add him as joint sponsor and delete from under my wife's name. we didn't add family members on ceac. we just mentioned numbers of household members in the affidavit of support forms of both my wife and her father's. why dont you send those documents of your father in law as email to NVC . they accept this method as well.  just call them after you send email of those docs to NVC  and ask them for a scan date if they have received that mail.

HI there, same thing happened to us last week... My wife called them 5 times and NVC has no clue how to remove my wife's mother as a joint sponsor and add her as her household member...... So unprofessional!

So what I did is add my mother in law as a household member (using her given name because the website won't let me), uploaded all her documents and when i tried to hit the submit button it wouldn't let me... So under "joint sponsor" i put everything as "not available" and submitted everything yesterday... Now fingers crossed, I hope they will figure it out on their side.

Please keep us updated and I will do the same

Oh really! So when you put everything as 'not available' under joint sponsor, you can see 'submitted' on all your docs under household member?

Wow! I think it's correct because all docs should show as 'submitted'. I wish I had done that. If I do this now, will the wait start from day 1 again? It's already been a week. Good luck to you and thanks a lot.

What I think is that if it doesn't show "submitted", it means it's not even sent..... Even if when my wife called NVC the rep told her that everything was fine, blablabla (5 times she had a different answer, until one of them told her to email NVC with the problem, but I never got an answer). For me, if it doesn't say "submitted' they don't even look at it.. So i decided to do my way, and I personally think that in your case they won't even look at it unless it shows "submitted"... But i may be wrong!

Yeah, they said the exact thing to me and even I haven't received a reply from them. 2 of my father in law's docs show 'submitted' while rest still show 'uploaded'. I guess you are right. I don't want to wait more 😭😭

Documents submitted last week, but received in my inbox on the CEAC site that they rejected the two police reports because I needed to rotate the documents to where the words can be read horizontally (LOL!!! Really?!) Anyways, resubmitted them a few days ago and I'm waiting, however, I JUST got an email from the NVC that said Paris, France US Embassy is willing to expedite my case as long as the payments were processed and all documents submitted! Yay!

He will have to get that certificate from embassy of greece . It mention any place he reside for more than 6 months have to obtain police clearance my friend stayed in Asutria 2009 and they asked that from him at interview and when he submit gone admenstartive process from 3 weeks.

my advice to make and sumbit to nvc and take one to embassy than delay later on.

It doesn't say that on the instructions though. It clearly says 12 months or more.
