Nope, I am pivot submitting through CEAC. I had to sign the I-864 with a pen and upload it instead of signing it electronically as I did the first time. So yeah, if you are PIVOT, make sure you actually print out the I-864 and sign it and upload it again. Signing it electronically with a signature in acrobat will not work even if it is your actual signature.

I think it's taking around 2 weeks to get checklists reviewed. A week has passed for me. Still waiting.

UPDATE! case documentary qualified. after  2 months of documents submission date.  got two checklists during this time. first checklist which was about sponsor got accepted same day of submission at ceac, another checklist same exact day. 2nd checklist got accepted after 2 weeks (because lawyer was so lazy to upload it, she sent it after 4 days)

i think if you get a checklist you should submit those required documents within 2 days. if you delay more then 2 days. then they look at it after couple of weeks.

good luck to all of you !

Ok,thanks.

But I heard it will be checked at point of entry, and it should still be valid by then

i dont know about this. i didn't hear that if i will need a police certificate at point of entry.  for Pakistan applicants it's not even required to bring a police certificate at the time of interview. i heard from other forums.

but if you think it's required at the point of entry. you can always apply for a new one. just to stay on safe side (that's if it actually is required at the POE)

mine is already expired, nvc takes allot of time then till interview most probably everybody's PCC get's expired.

Congrats! I got a checklist for sponsor too. If you don't mind, can you explain what did they ask for? I added my father in law as joint sponsor but they sent a checklist saying I should add him as a household member. I didn't know how to remove him as joint sponsor. Then I added him as household member.Uploaded his docs which still say uploaded and not submitted. I don't know why. However other things show submitted. Now waiting for it to get reviewed.

Wow, you had two checklists? Was it for the same document? Mine all say accepted except for the one document and only said that that the signature was wrong. Did they not find everything wrong with yours the first time?

Thanks,

In my case my father in law wasn't added as joint sponsor instead we uploaded father in law's Affidavit of Support (AOS)  with my wife's docs, so NVC asked to delete those documents and upload Father in Law's docs as joint sponsor. which we did and got accepted same day. also lawyer used old AOS form which according to NVC is not acceptable anymore. so we had to refill and resubmit a new form. You have to add your Father in Law  as household member if your husband is living with them, same will apply to both, Your father's AOS for you and your Husbands AOS for you. it should mention in both of those forms as number of household members including your Father in Law.

As NVC asked me to add my Father in Law as a joint sponsor separately , i think you did right thing by adding him as joint sponsor , are those docs accepted under joint sponsor? if yes then you dont have to worry about that. if there's no option for deleting. call NVC stay on phone until they solve your problem.

you've been waiting for as long as i've been waiting. i know it's frustrating.Good luck to you! i hope you get every thing accepted and completed soon, Best wishes !

They rejected all my father in law's documents under joint sponsor and asked to delete these docs and add him as household member and submit his docs under my husband's name. My husband added him as a household member but when he uploaded his docs, they still show uploaded and not submitted. I have called NVC so many times. The reps have no idea why this is happening and they don't know how to remove him as joint sponsor. They asked me to send them an email requesting to remove him as a joint sponsor. I did that. Another question: we have to add him as household member by clicking on 'Add household member' on CEAC website, right?

Hello. I called NVC yesterday and they confirmed they’ve received my supporting documents . Does this mean it’s been scanned?

Not necessarily i think... you must ask them about documents scanning...

Yes! Congrats!

Woohoo!!! Okay, now question:

We have a Case Complete! When I log on to the CEAC, everything says accepted. I check the messages. There are three new messages received. One saying that all documents have been accepted, and then 2 more making document specifications, like changing the passport and something about W-2s,....yet, all documents were accepted?  What's the best plan of action here?  Resubmit? Call?

Has anybody had this happen?
