Yes but it wasn't supposed to be a checklist as they rejected two papers because they said it didn't have an English translation but it did, so it just got forwarded to a supervisor to fix.

Yes I did! Good luck to you:energy:

Same here, is there anyone could tell us whether it's okay without DS-261?

you will need the DS261.. it is where you select an agent to act on your or your spouses behalf and receive all future communications. I was told by NVC that this would need to be completed and cleared by them before the IV fee and applications are invoiced. I highly recommend that you call NVC after selecting an agent as this speeds things a bit. Cuts the time from 3 weeks to 1.

Yeah only one more day then friday but sucks I have to wait till monday.  I guess I will call by end of friday....maybe they will escalate it to supervisor.

It's really annoying. I did same too but was told to call back the next day if i still dont get my case nunber.

You have to call them on monday else it's the same old story, all call to nvc is useless unless you have passed the 8week mark.

Please how many days/weeks does it take to get scan date for a non pivot case, and is it compulsory to submit police certificate together with the supporting documents or one can submit that later.

The lawyer submitted supporting documents yesterday without police certificate.

2 to 3days from other vjers. Copies of police report of every country you have lived in after you turned 16 or else you will get a check list(rfe)for it while the original(s) will be submitted at the time of your interview.

According to the list of documents needed in the  NVC stage, the police certificate is important. But still I have seen many people have submitted their documents without a pcc and later they bring the certificate to the Interview.Once NVC receives your documents within a week they scan the documents mostly. You have to call in order to find out the scan date.

Ok,thank you so much.

Can one later submit a copy of the Pcc to Nvc before the interview.

Cos the lawyer was telling me to email the copy to her as soon as i get it,so she can send to nvc later.

I will suggest you to get the PCC as soon as possible. You might get a checklist in case if you don't submit the PCC.It means they can hold your documents for sometimes more before scheduling an interview. It's better not to wait much.Discuss with any expert especially your lawyer.Check what he is saying.Get the PCC soon
