Lol congrats. Hopefully you should get your interview date around the end of the month.

Got my documentarily qualified on June 12-- hoping for an interview date at the end of this month-- depends on the embassy, though!

Initially the category was F1 (US citizen filed petition for his son  in 2010). In 2016 son got married and now have 1 year old son. In 2017  received letter from NVC to submit DS260 and other forms. In those forms he mentioned about his wife and son. Now he received a letter from NVC that category his petition is changed from F1 to F3 and he has to wait until visa for F3 category are available for Pakistan quota.

Is anyone have information's  approximate wait time of F3 category for Pakistan?

Thank you.

Wrong thread.

But they are currently processing March 2006 for F3. You can always go to US Visa bulletin and find details there. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2018/visa-bulletin-for-june-2018.html

Thank you! That was fast, wasn't it?

Sure, I will!

But I'm just quite different visa category.

It's still Family-based (I'm IB1, so it's self-petitioning after my mother's WAVA case), but on the NVC stage timeline is the same as for IR1/CR1 (8 weeks for getting a case number, then 6 weeks for review the documents etc.)

Sorry for the late review, needed time to bask in the euphoria of joy. I had my interview on the 14th of June 2018, it was slated for 6:45am, made it to the lagos consulate at about 6:31am. It was a long wait, All my original documents where given back because my lawyer mailed in original documents to the consulate through NVC, had my biometrics taken , swore an oath and then had the interview. Spent about 3hrs and couple of minutes before my interview was conducted, the interview lasted 5mins thereabouts.

Co: So your husband is calling you to the US

Me: Ans

Co: how did you meet

Me:Ans

Co: when did you meet

Me:Ans

Co: when did you get married

Me:Ans

Co: tell me about your husband

Me: Ans

Co: where does he work

Me: Ans

Co: what are his hobbies

Me: Ans

Co: Is that your son

Me:Ans

Co: Is he your husband's too

Me:Ans

Co: Can I see pictures of the three of you in it as well as pictures of just the two of them it

Me: (brings out huge photo albums)

Co: Woow!

Co: Can I see your wedding pictures

Co: Your visa has been approved ( hands over paper with instructions on how to get our passports and a paper stating my rights has a wife in the US).

Thank you visa journey for keeping me sane all through this process, the process is nerve wrecking but it's worth the wait. I wish others good luck with theirs, cheers!

Congrats

Is there anyone here who submitted their docs to the NVC without a police clearance and was able to get a CC and just bring it to the interview? We had an issue getting ours and our lawyer wrote a letter explaining and that we would bring it to the interview, but im wondering if anyone had any success in doing this?

i have seen people being asked by NVC to bring their missing documents at time of interview. Anyways did u get any update. i submitted to aos and other civil  documents on 06/05 to nvc and get done with NVC and waiting in line for interview
