yaaaayyy!! My wife visa status changed to ISSUED last night. Finally our journey is about to be over.

Just a note to Islamabad folks, CO gave us 221g on pictures without makeup so we went back and re-submit the pics without makeup at the same day. It took them 3 days to update our case and after 2 days it changed to ISSUED.

Thanks to VJ family!!

Good Morning Folks,

Just wanted to let you all know,  my husband received his new SS card (he had one previously with our AOS process which was ultimately denied) in the mail yesterday 06/11/2018. His interview in CDJ was on May 29th and he was approved. He crossed back into the States on 06/03/2018. SSN was received in less than 2 weeks!! :D And yes, I did indicate on the DS-260 that he would need a new card issued.

I have updated my profile, but for some reason my information still does not show country. Can someone help me with that?!?!

I have a CC, but I also got a checklist to bring a police certificate to the interview. Any idea why that may be? Also, is it even worth calling NVC to see if an interview is scheduled, or is it best just to wait for the appointment email?

Don’t worry about it, I got same one. I attached police certificate, they still asked me to bring original on interview. You can call NVC if you want, don’t know if they could give you any information, except you just have to wait. That’s what we got😒

Could you fill in your "timeline"? It will help other Pakis that are going through this process.

Congrats! How long did it take to get CC after you submitted all the docs?

I think nobody can give you a precise time. It depends...Some people get a CC in 2 days, others have to wait for 3 weeks

Hey everyone -  I'm currently waiting for an interview to be scheduled with Montreal (I got CC on May 31st). I'm missing some vaccines and I'm wondering if anyone knows if I should get them before the medical or if I can have the missing ones done at the medical? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
