Good Morning all,

I've had CC since end of March, our original interview date was for the 11th of May (the original interview letter we received). At the end of April, I rescheduled my husband's interview for July 20th with the US Consulate in Nicosia, Cyprus. My question- Should I have received a new letter from them? Of course, we have the official e-mail correspondence from an @state.gov e-mail address verifying the change of date, etc. I'm just not sure if I should be looking our for a new hardcopy letter in the mail? I know you must have your interview letter with you at the time of the interview to be let into the Consulate, but would e-mail correspondence verifying our change in date, along with our official 'outdated' letter to interview be permissible?

Many thanks!

Are insight on when they stop scheduling interviews for the following month? Was hoping/expecting for a July date but now wondering if we've been pushed to August. NVC says they stopped scheduling all interviews after the first week of the month but it sounds like some people got notices last week with their interview date. Would love some good news soon!

I called and got  the news that our case is CC as of 6/7/18, but we haven't received any email from NVC.  How long does it take to get the email? Anyone experienced this?

I called NVC about two hours ago, and the rep said that they're still scheduling... I'm at Frankfurt. I think scheduling depends on the specific embassy.

(CC May 30, still no interview appointment.)

Oh good to know! I also called a couple of hours ago and the rep told me that most of the scheduling is done end of the month and first few days of the month - however there can be one off random scheduling done mid month. Kind of made it sound like chances were slim but thats good to hear you got that news! Please update if you get a date. Our CC is May 16th so hoping for something soon.

From looking at the last few German cases in the interview stat spreadsheet (THANKS to whomever initiated that!), it looks like Frankfurt regularly gives out appointments mid-month. For Turkey, I see two recent-ish cases that were scheduled mid-month. (The spreadsheet is a super small sample, and things have been in crazy flux with NVC lately, it seems, but it's some indicator.)

For everybody wanting to filter the spreadsheet for their country (sorry if this is super obvious, but many people just never work with spreadsheets, so I thought I'd share): Select row 7, click on Data > Filter views > Create new temporary filter view. Now you'll be able to click on the little downward arrow in the "Country of Interview" column and select your country. This way, you don't have to scroll through the whole spreadsheet to find info for your country and have your eyes fall out. :)

I looked at that spreadsheet, and unfortunately there's not much up-to-date information for Colombia. :-(

There are way more recent entries for Colombia than there are for Germany! :) But yeah, the spreadsheet can only do so much.

Is there anyone here who submitted their docs to the NVC without a police clearance and was able to get a CC and just bring it to the interview? We had an issue getting ours and our lawyer wrote a letter explaining and that we would bring it to the interview, but im wondering if anyone had any success in doing this?

Yes, we did that. For Greece, the police sends the clearance to the Embassy. That's actually the only way it can be done and NVC is aware. We got a CC no problem but not an interview yet...
