Hi guys,

So I finally travelled to the US yesterday and got in around 9pm local time. My POE was Newark, I wasn't asked a single question , the Immigration officer took my packet, stamped my passport and welcomed me to the United States. Within 1hr I was done, the only sad part was they took my suya (😭😭😭 , my Nigerian folks would understand) the journey has been a tedious one and I'm so glad to be with my dear hubby. I wish every one success , and my prayers are with you guys. Just hang in there, it would soon be over .

Suya is nectar from the gods!!! LOL. Glad you made it and are reunited with your husband. Welcome to America!

Hello everyone... i have a question... my husband's interview is scheduled 7/19/18 but I have no idea when our application left the NVC nor when the Consulate received it. How would I know those dates? I see that they are included in our timeline submissions, but I don't know how to find out that information. Aside from the medical and gathering all documents for the interview, are there any other steps before the interview that I need to know about? Thanks in advance everyone!

From when it says In Transit is the day it left the NVC and the day it turns to Ready is when the consulate received it

I don't no why it always tried to quote things when I want to post to topic.

Update for any Canadians ...when I called they said they have not heard from Montreal at all and we may not hear til the end of the month now. I hope he is wrong, that is the least optimistic person I have talked to. :/ I still am holding out hope for this Friday. Or at least next lol ...I refuse to think end of the month. So hard to plan your life around this yoyoing!!
