@Balaji_v That letter seems like a good idea! Did you describe the evolution starting from the day you arrived or since the K-1? What kind of things did you put in that letter? I think I'm gonna write something too but I don't know where to start!

The Evolution of Relationship letter is compiled and signed by my wife. She described how we met, how our dates went on and how our relationship developed into a romantic relationship and how it lead to marriage and all. What are the factors which led her to believe that I am the right guy for her. And what our future plans are. I didn't adjust from K-1 as entered the U.S. as a student 8 Years ago and then adjusted my status to H1B and then now to a permanent resident status. Good luck with your letter. Please let me know if you have any questions about writing that letter, I would be more than happy to help 😀

I have read here multiple times to avoid manual verification if you can, since that will take longer and has a chance of errors. Not sure why those October filers did manual? Must have been some specific cases. In general, now that stuff is recorded digitally, you should be in the system within a couple days of POE. Make sure to write down the I-94 arrival number thing and bring that with you to the SSN office (along with passport with visa and a copy of birth certificate).

If you're referring to Social Security Number application (manual verification), it isn't up to the filer. Manual verification is internally determined, and not a decision that the applicant can make. We waited two weeks after my husband's POE to go to the SSA office, and he was still sent for manual verification anyway. But he also got the SSN card in the mail within the week, so I don't feel like it necessarily delays things too much.

Håll ut, y'all.

Wondering if there are any Los Angeles City people on this thread? It seems the wait time for interview is 11-22 months at the Los Angeles office. I am only at 86 days, but seeing everyone getting interview dates makes me wonder if it's just longer here in LA or if there's hope I might get the interview earlier? Thanks for your help...and maybe some hope?

Hello! Thank you for replying. dumb question: it says "New card is being produced" do I have to get another update with the word "approved" or can I just assume it is approved because the card is being produced?

Thank you!

I’ve been watching everyone on this forum for awhile and used it to submit the applications. We have our I-485 interview next week and we still have not had the EAD approved. We submitted for a SSN to be issued with EAD. Does anyone know if we still get it with the Green card or if we have to submit the SSN application separate now? Thanks for your help. We are at the Raleigh, NC office.

Great! Thank you! It's good to know you got your EAD/AP approved, congrats! I will follow the thread, sad to think it will take so long until the interview but good to know there are others going through it.  Guess LA is just TOO big, I was born and raised here and happy to be a Californian even if we have to wait awhile.
