I have read here multiple times to avoid manual verification if you can, since that will take longer and has a chance of errors. Not sure why those October filers did manual? Must have been some specific cases. In general, now that stuff is recorded digitally, you should be in the system within a couple days of POE. Make sure to write down the I-94 arrival number thing and bring that with you to the SSN office (along with passport with visa and a copy of birth certificate).

I asked them how to avoid manual verification, someone said it all depends on the officer that's handling your case, if they know what they are doing with K1 visa applicants?  I'm going to check SAVE case check site before heading there just to be safe, because those manual verification happened because those people went too early and their name didn't show up on the SAVE database. go figure, i feel like it's all luck nowadays.

Day 134 and still waiting impatiently!

 

But I recently discovered that in the app you can search a range of 500 case numbers, and none of them near mine have been approved so that's something. I'm not as worried that I might have fallen through the cracks.

It is not processed by number order but where your local office is unfortunately

No, I only received the approval notice. No delivery or tracking number.

my concern is when I would receive the travel permission. I called yesterday but I didn’t get information but the uscis website account update. So I don’t know if the site is not up to date and the mail would be delivered even it is only saying approved.

 

Weird. We just got ours in the mail. Did you file for EAD and AP. We filed for Both and it states also like that on the card

I'm talking about the EAD not Green Card. AFAIK all the EADs are done at the National Benefits Center

I had the app and was tracking my own applications plus a bunch of others. Did not get any notifications.....

 

It worked fine for the I-129F cases, but not for these.

Manual verification is something internally and nothing you can actually do to avoid it. SSA is the one who has to verify this information. Not always are the databases updated on the day the person got in with other systems. It may happen or it may not happen. Some people has SS#in 10 days, other up to 8 weeks.

We finally got EAD!!!! what a relief. 😊. Monday we run to the DMV

Manual verification will happen or not and not under your control. There was someone from June filers that had manual verification and still SS card at home in 10 days.  We got ours in 4 weeks

Yes! We filed both. I received today an email of uscis that says so I have no idea when I would receive the card and get the flight...

 

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on October 10, 2018.
