Same here, however i only got two texts, did you get a receipt # for all 3?

I got two cases numbers for following forms, missing the travel I-131

On June 23, 2018, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application

On June 8, 2018, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization

we got three different receipt numbers; guessing for EAD, AOS, and AP O_O

Well, we FINALLY got all the forms and applications in order last night so we can hopefully get it all in the mail tomorrow morning (literally cutting it to the absolute quick, with my commitment to send everything off by the end of June :jest:). Better late than never!

And so the wait continues... or begins again... not sure which :P

I applied for AOS together with the travel permit and  EAD. I got my NOA1 as well as my biometrics appointment. I really don't have any problems with my application.

I am more interested in finding out how to work legally. I currently work from home and being paid in my Philippine bank account. I use my Philippine credit cards here and have my brother pay my bills in the Philippines. Like all of you, I want to work in the US and get paid in dollars. However, as I've done my research I've seen a lot of terrifying comments from different forums that it is illegal..blah blah blah.. and one must resign or stop working... I am no expert in this matter so I decided to check the internet and find out for myself and this is what I have found in the USCIS website.

Feel free to share your take on this... Please let us know, especially those who are waiting for their EAD, is it really illegal or legal to work while you are on a K1 visa?

We do need work permit to work in the USA unfortunately. But I guess if you work for company in Philippines is ok. I got my Social security card and it said I need work authorization to work.. I wouldn’t take risk to work in the USA now because can’t be deported.

We used the credit card payment method too and they had reserved an amount within one or two business days of our application being delivered in Chicago. That doesn't mean it has be the same for you though, we have a few people in the group who've had their EAD and AP apps received immediately and their AOS app received more than a week later, despite being sent together, for some unknown reason. That might mean payments are taking longer too. I wouldn't worry yet! :)

Okay thank you! Hope something happens soon, between this and still waiting for his SSN my anxiety is high haha.

So all of you that are applying and anybody in general that know about the mysocialsecurity.gov website... It is supposed to be an extra layer of security for you. They even have a second level of security in which they ask for your mobile number or email to send you a one time code to type in when you attempt to login. Anyways, we where told just minutes ago, this will not work with foreign passports, you have to have somekinda ID from the state or the government. Too bad, since we just got SS# and we cant verify it online also and get that extra layer protection. :(
