Just got the fingerprinting done today....Process was very quick and simple. Went early and got done within 15 mins.

I guess the local office here is not that busy. Also, i have heard from other forums that you could go earlier than your appointment date, and try as long as you have the notice for your appointment.

We didn't try that but probably could have worked in case you are thinking about it.

Now the big wait starts for EAD/AP and interview.

Hi NYLondon, my case got rejected because I sent in the incorrect fee. Which is weird since I checked on USCIS website, the I485 is 1140 and I130 is 535. Is there any other fee I am not aware of if you don't mind sharing? Thanks.

You need the 1140 and biometric fee which equals 1225.  The fee for the eap and ap isn’t needed if filed with the I485.

Thanks NYLondon, I misread their instructions. Would have appreciated it if they only request us to send in a new check instead of sending us back the whole package. Sigh.

Update

 

We received our NOA's for AOS, EAD and AP on June 13th.

Today we received our I-797C ASC appointment notice for Biometrics for July 11th 

things are moving along nicely

Hi NYLondon, sorry for asking again, just to be sure. So I filed I485, 130, 765, 131. Do I just need to send in 2 checks (1225 for 485 and 535 for 130)? other forms don't need fees and no need for biometric fee for the petitioner right?

 

Also, I submitted 2 passport photos of petitioner and 8 for beneficiary. Please also advise if you submitted different numbers of photos. 

 

These are the two items that I'd appreciate an additional reference on. Since you just submitted and were accepted, I thought of asking your experience. Thanks again for sharing.

Update:  Got the appointment letter for Biometrics on July 9th in the mail today - except I think it came yesterday cos the mailman is never here this early.  If it did come yesterday I'll be mad, because today I was by where the appointment is and I could have walked in.  Instead I'll probably have to wait for the appointment day to do it.

One check for the total of 1225 (1140 and 85 fee). 

I didn’t send a 130 not sure what that application is for.

That's exactly what we did.  One check for $535 for the I-130, a second check for $1225 for the I-485 and Biometrics fee.   No biometrics needed for the petitioner spouse.  And we did 2 petitioner photos and 8 beneficiary photos.  We did ours at Costco because it is $5 for a sheet of four passport photos.  The other places we checked (Sam's Club and Walgreens) are between $5 and $10 for two.
