My GC status is in the "ready to schedule interview" since August, so two months now and no interview date. At the same time i got Request for Initial Evidence for EAD and AP! Seems like they didn't like the fact i used and old version of the i-765 form, even thought it says clearly on the website: Starting 09/17/2018, we will only accept the 05/31/18 edition. Until then, the 07/17/17 edition can be used. My package was sent in June! I am really confused here why this is and then why also AP got RFIE, as that form didn't change!

Btw. does anyone know if i need to also send another set of photos as well, since i need to resubmit the whole thing?

Thanks!

What apps do you guys use to track them? I just realized my case has been changed to "ready to be scheduled for interview," but the "case tracker" app didn't send me any notification. I don't trust this app no more lol

I am not using an app but am just looking at the case status online at uscis web page.

We had our interview and got approved on the spot! Much quicker than we were expecting, good luck everyone else :)

How long after ready to be scheduled for interview did you receive the interview notice in the post?

Hello,

I mailed out ALL of my forms for AOS (green card)  towards the end of May and USCIS received everything on the 31st of May 2018.

I've already went in for my biometrics and I have been waiting on my EAD for 5 months now. Has anyone else been waiting this long because I noticed the tracker doesn't get updated at all.

Hey!

Yes we filed ours ours at the start of June. We have received in the last few days an update saying ‘ready to be scheduled for interview’

we don’t know how long the wait will be for that. Currently no EAD or AP and we’re jusy shy of 5 months now too.

we got the interview notice 3 weeks before the date, the whole process went much faster than we expected - maybe the Detriot office is a bit faster than other some of the other locations!

I don't know anything about the expedited service other than for emergencies, but  you can send an inquiry if it's outside of normal processing times. Just check if your receipt date is before the date listed under the uscis processing times.
