I, as a US Citizen have applied for my wife in 2015, her interview was in Feb of 2016 and she was told that she will receive her passport with her US visa in 2-4 week by mail. That never happened. They keep on telling use the same exact thing that the file is in administrative process. no matter how we context them they have the same scripted answer. I even visited the embassy in person and have involved Congressman and they give us the same exact answer,.

However, today I found out that my Application is expired. They never contacted me or my wife, they just cancelled our petition with out any notice. last i checked the status was 2-3 days a go and everything looked as it always have looked in the past. I contacted NVC and they said that they do not have any information and advised me to contact the embassy.

Have any of your seen anything like this? any thoughts what i should do? I don't know how long the embassy will take to get back but in the mean time i am losing it.

I think you should have gotten an "Expiring soon" letter months ago.  However, it seems that it is now too late for anything other than re-filing..from the beginning.....sorry this happened.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I am trying to delete one of them, i dont know how to. can you help?

You can not delete them after you start them, only a Mod can delete. Don't worry because I moved them to a appropriate forum for Mods to delete later.

No, i haven't had any communication from their side at all. I know that because i am desperate to have my wife here with me and been waiting so long to get an answer from them which never came.

I hope they are not going to delete both of them?

If the letter is correct, you no longer have a petition in the system. You will have to file another one.

" If you are still interested in obtaining an immigrant visa, the petitioner should contact the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) regarding filing a new immigrant visa petition.

Why? They said the exact same thing in both of those threads but with no comments. So I moved them because they were duplicate posts.

Damn... are you telling me that i have more then 2 of these posts? i though it only happen twice. oh well thank you.

Yeah you had 3 total posts in all, so I basically moved the 2 other posts  that had no comments to a separate forum to be deleted later. Don't worry about it because it looks it was unintentional. But we are on the look out for stuff like this because some people will post the same thing in different forums hoping for a different response.

I’m so sorry osamarapazk. Sounds like everything was going smooth, all through the process, including the final interview. I can’t imagine how devastated you and your wife are.

It’s also an outrage that your wife’s passport has been at the embassy since Feb’16!!!

I know the message says they’ve destroyed your whole application, but please hold on to any communication with USCIS. If the embassy somehow lost your wife’s passport, you can use those as proof that she trusted them with her original document, a very important one.

There is something very odd here.  Your case should not expire simply because of administrative processing.  This is very strange...

But how could they? Just until Friday the status was Pending Administrative process and today they have destroyed my record after waiting for me to act upon their notice that they supposedly send me a year a go? that just doesn't add up.
