How much was the medical exam? I am reading many different  prices. I am reading some people declining the vaccinations to do them along with their AOS to save on money. Thanks Jeff. I don't see why our application would be denied I don't know how much they look at assets but I make enough to be above the poverty line. I'm just afraid that there is something I'm missing and will get denied which is my biggest fear after the time and expenses.

As long as you have been honest, completed all the entries to the application (I-129f) and you have demonstrated not only that you have met in person in the past 2 years but that you are in a bonified relationship then you are going to be fine. Most applications are approved if these few parameters are met. The next hurdle is if you can support "your household" with your current income which is measured against the poverty guidelines chart to which you have stated that you do. In my opinion, I believe you have a strong case for approval.  The US Embassy in Mexico is not a difficult embassy to process through. They are very fair in their evaluation of cases that come before them for adjudication. Just remember, to be honest, complete the paperwork without mistakes and all should go well.

Keep in mind that a forum like this one is for initial bonding with others who are along the same timeline as you for initial processing. The initial application is the same no matter where in the world you are. But, having said that, once you get your approval (NOA2 text message or email), you should also check in with your country's sub-forum to get a better understanding of the process for the Embassy that you will be interviewing with, and to get direct answers from those who have completed the steps you are about to at the US Embassy - Juarez Mexico.

The required documents are included and use this website as a checklist. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for your country so that you are up to speed.

Thank you very much for your thorough answer I can see it says vaccinations are optional that will help out immensely.

For a K1, vaccinations have always been optional however as stated earlier, you hoped they would be cheaper in the US. That is false. It can cost up to $1000 to get your vaccinations done in the US, find a US civil surgeon to redo the I693 to submit with your AOS package and one who wont force you to redo the whole medical and charge you even more for that because they can charge you whatever they want.

It is not wise to put off the vaccines until you get to the US however it is your choice. It is definitely NOT cheaper in the US.

Filed Nov 22nd and still no NOA2. This wait is absurd.

This is horrible, its been several months since i was last on here, i was very depressed.  But anyway we received our noa1 on nov. 2, 2017 and still have not received our noa2. Uscis claim they sent it to the local field office in my area. Its going on 1 year with no noa2. I have done everything in my power to find out why they are doing to us. I have reached out to the congressman, which didnt help, and the senator, thats when i received a email about it being in transit to local field office. I dont know what else to do. Can anyone tell me is there anything else i need to do , besides wait our life away.

Wow. That's some bullshit. Worse than my situation, sounds like they didn't even touch your case after receiving it. Why would they send it to a local field office? I thought only service centers are able to adjudicate the petitions.
