We are at 211 days today...😕

Really thought this week would be our week. But it seems the first week of November has been skipped over ☹

NOA1 Nov 2nd (old system)

           Nov 6th (new system)

Waiting till we hit 210 days (7 months) in the new system before we contact anyone - don't want to be told they're not processing our date yet, or to wait another 30 days and check back. REALLY hoping somebody locates our box soon! 🙄

We have the same date as you. And we are still waiting. Todays date is june 29th 2018. It is so frustrating. I tried contacting them. On may 16th through the outside of  normal processing time through their website.

I received a reply 30 days later on june 16 saying they are stiil reviewing our case. When they make a decision, they will mail it to me. So each time you put in an outside of normal processing time request it will take 30 days if they dont get back to you sooner.

Not if you use your congressman office case worker to make an inquiry. USCIC service centers respond to them in like a week, atleast that was my experience.

I’m at day 226, CSC already said they’re still reviewing it, so I’ll give them another 30-60 days before I start making another round of inquiries. The wait doesn’t bother me, now that I know what’s wrong.

What bothers me more is they simply refuse to update either website. It took me a congressional inquiry to hear an update, when it would’ve taken 10 second to update the site “slight delay, still reviewing security background”

I am so happy for you all. We have been waiting it seems like forever. Noa1 was received nov. 2. 2017. We still have not received noa2 or nothing. And today is June 28. 2018.

I am really sorry for everybody still waiting. We waited 192 days, that looked like eternity. I cant imagine if we were still waiting.

Keep strong and believe! It will happen soon!

Again, No Updates in Today's Scan.... I'll check next week, but it looks like the old website is no longer being updated.

We were approved June 1 and our account on the old website still says "received". It is not looking good for getting updates from the old website anymore. May the very helpful old website "rest in peace".

I can't believe that USCIS is still asking for the TOS (terms of service) from cherrybloosom. There has been hundreds if not thousands of couples who meet on CB and USCIS knows this. They also know that CB is not a marriage broker. It just amazes me.

Go to https://www.blossoms.com/termsofUseNew.php and https://www.blossoms.com/aboutUs.php and print off the entire pages. Then put the pages with a copy of the RFE in an envelope and follow USCIS's return instructions. Once they receive it your file will begin being adjudicated after about 2 weeks. Not approved but adjudicated to it's final status.  It should be approved soon.

Good luck.

Can anybody help... day 241 nov 1st here we have tried contacting uscis multiple times we have received letters mentioning that we enquired but nothing ever happens. They refuse to put us through to a tier two. What’s the best way to be put through to a tier two?? We are so lost. We have also contacted ombudsman and local congress in the past week.. have not received anything back as yet.

Our case is simple... I’m Australian . Both never married. No children. No Criminal history at all.

@Amy & John

I'm curious what you mean when you say they won't put you through to a Tier 2 officer?

I called about 3 times in total,  and each and every time as soon as they answer, I would say,  "Yes,  I need to speak with a Tier 2 Officer". They would say,  "ok, one moment and we'll transfer you". They never questioned or refused.

What reason do they give?

I'm sorry you're going thru this.  My NOA1 was Nov 2nd, so very near your date.

It is likely a background security issue (any number of reasons could trigger it). Myself and several other posters have delays due to the same thing. We can make as many phone calls as we want, they'll just tell us to wait. Just submit an inquiry every 30 days, nothing else to do. USCIS will tell you to same: make an inquiry, then wait 30 days for a response, then make another inquiry

Shouldn’t they be able to tell us that’s the reason rather than saying you just have to wait.

Sorry, but all the years I have been here this system is nothing but ebb and flow to their approving, issuing a case number and shipment off to the Embassy. It's been like this for years. And every month I see a new thread pop and it's the same old questions. When am I going to get my …..

They can't make any promises or tell you how far along you are or when will the complete such and such because many times they don't know. And if they did tell you then you would hold them to that promise and if they didn't deliver, well guess you are back to square one, just like you are now.

It never ends. The best thing for your sanity and mine is to go on about your business and when it gets approved you'll know. It's a real simple process, yet ppl make it much harder then it is. In 2017 there were 9,681,913 visas issued for just non-immigrant. That number does not include those that were denied or those that were canceled. That's just non-immigrant. So, do the math and you can see that they have a heavy work load and it is not going to change anytime soon.

I know, besides it being tough, you want to be with your love one and if you were they could take all the time they wanted because you would be with them. I get that.

You have a way of knowing approximately when your file will be complete. There are a number of tools available to you. Go up to Immigration Timelines on the blue ribbon above and select it. Once you are on the next page looked to your left and you will see a box that states "find similar timelines" and select it. A list will populate with those who are processing close to your timeline. When they start to change you will soon be behind them. Also there is another place you can go and follow others who are processing the same time you are and for the same Embassy. Go to the blue ribbon at the top of this page and select "portals". Scroll down the left hand side of the page till you get to VJ "your country's name" Timelines. Just below it you'll see "K-1" so you select it and out pops a window with others from your country.

Your not going to speed up the process so I'd recommend that you just go with the flow because "It ain't changing".

Your case seems simple to you but there are checks and balances for the immigration process here in the USA. Because we have such an open immigration policy it's easy for anyone from any country who is a bad guy to get into our country and cause havoc. We see it all the time. So the screws get turned a little titer and those like yourself suffer. USCIS doesn't know if that both of you were never married. That you do not have children. They know nothing of your criminal history until the do their research and background checks. There are numerus data bases both here and international to check and that takes time.

There are visa classifications in your country, Australia, that take 12, 18 and sometimes 24 months to get.

Technically they will tell the congressman case worker the reason, then the case worker will relay the response to you via email

The reason will likely be a vague general "additional background security check" auto-response that everyone is getting but the end result makes no difference,  you have to wait. There won't be much specifics and even if there was, there is nothing we can do unless they send an RFE.

The key is to look at other threads for those who waited long, usually they still got approved, they just sadly had to wait.
